Re: Leeds Utd v Cardiff City Match Thread - LIVE on ITV,
I just want us to go for it. Attack attack attack. Get in to em f*ck em up sort of mentality. Live and die by the sword of expression and football artistry. We are better than them....Nothing but a win will do. They are a club in despair and we know how that feels.
Don't mention set-pieces and it will never happen.

Hopefully you'll get here soonBlackHillsPaul wrote: ↑Sat Jan 07, 2023 4:37 pm Wishing all of our traveling supporters a safe journey to Cardiff and back. And hopefully a win!!![]()
For many years I was part of the traveling support for DC United in MLS. I was living in the Eastern part of the United States at that time which made it possible. The connection I was able to build with other supporters, club staff, and even the players and coaches was amazing. We were such a small fraternity in those days because the shear size of our country made it difficult for most to make the trips. We might only have a couple dozen up to a couple hundred. But the players were always so appreciative. For me it was what being a supporter of a club was all about. I really cherish those days.
One of these days I hope to make the trip to Elland Road. Of all the great experiences I've had with football/futbol/soccer that would be the icing on the cake.

Re: Leeds Utd v Cardiff City Match Thread
I certainly do miss it. I wanted Bielsa to emulate Don Revie and the greatest football team ever that I had the privilege to watch. The sad thing is, how quickly they've got rid of anything to do with him. Everything we were building has gone and now we have to start all over again sadly.Kennyb41 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 07, 2023 6:22 pm Ooooo....I bet you more than most miss the wonderful Bertball, sadly some reckon never to be seen again.
The best manager in the world for me bar none, i bet Pep even thinks " Jeez these players i've got now at Citeh, i bet my mentor could get them playing blindfolded"

Re: Leeds Utd v Cardiff City Match Thread - LIVE on ITV,
As long as we fight for the whole game fans will accept it. What I don't want to see is us not turning up at all. The fans will be there and I expect the team to be there too.Leeds1000 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 07, 2023 8:13 pm I just want us to go for it. Attack attack attack. Get in to em f*ck em up sort of mentality. From the bottom up.
Luckily for Radz and the Clown he got us up, and they don't even know what he did, because they just don't understand football, and i sincerely mean that, neither of them have ever played and both don't know their arse from their elbow in regards to football and players, they are not clued up enough on the game to realise what he achieved with the dross he was handed that numerous had tried with.
Yes, very sad indeed, i bet you had some fantastic times traveling away then with some excitement in your belly.
Me too, i actually commented he's gonna be the best thing to ever happen since my childhood days of The Don, and he was and shall remain so.

In terms of just age that was never really likely - Revie was 34 when appointed as player-manager, Bielsa was 63 when appointed as manager....Lufcheidi wrote: ↑Sat Jan 07, 2023 9:11 pm I certainly do miss it. That might take a while to gel... can't remember the last time Llorente played with Struijk in the middle

Seven changes as I predicted.
Hopefully we have enough to avoid a potential banana skin.

Re: Leeds Utd v Cardiff City Match Thread - Marsch makes seven changes
No worries with our kids in the team, much more concerned with our experienced players.
