I'm not sure a loan to a mid table Championship side would make him a top level striker.
That is the point though, he isn’t a 9. He is a 10, but would probably be better in a partnership up top if he was played as a striker. Not sure JM’s set up suits his game. It is a case of whether he can adapt his game.

I think that loan did Drameh the world of good last year. And I think it should have been enough to have made him a squad player this year.
Agree 👍 that's why my club are interested in Drameh he's ready to make the step up.

Good player who offers a lot defensively and going forward gives 100%, Which is why Eddie wants him our squad depth at Newcastle is terrible need a clear out of the deadwood, and player's like Elliot Anderson out on loan.

To aid his development as you said look at the difference in Drameh.

There's definitely a reason, why so many clubs are interested in him.

I want him to stay at Leeds. Think he's a quality player. We signed a 2nd senior RB in the summer which might mean we lose him and that would be a shame. He's our 3rd choice but could start for a few PL teams

That boy is a special player , people get caught up in the drama, because the lad hasn't hit the heights he hit last season.

But he's still 20 years old , he needs regular game time were he can develop.

He's not getting that at Leeds I would take him at my scottish team Hearts, he would walk into that team.

Willy played against Hearts, in the Europa league this season for Zurich, before completing his move to Leeds.

Needs regular game time ,and goals then his confidence will be high, you get a player that is confident and ready to take the next step up.

Marcelo gave Leeds the blueprint it's putting them in at the right time.

Yeah can understand you wanting to keep him.

The sensible thing to do would be to move ayling on ,he's been a great servant.

Sorry bongo, but I don't see it. Outside of 15/20 min cameos, he hasn't really offered enough.

I don't think he is anywhere near ready to start week in week out. The difference between Ghonto and him is massive.

I'm only just catching up.

You must be fcking bonkers if you want Jesse sacked.

My comment is nothing to do with how this match result turned out.

Even if we got slapped today i don't want Marsch sacked.

Unless Bert's coming back that is.

SG90 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 5:11 pm Gelhardt scored 2 tap ins and our fans acted like he's the second coming of prime R9. My comment had nothing to do with his goal anyway, as I've said for a while that Perkins needs a chance, and I haven't been impressed with Gelhardt all season tbh.
What's Prime R9?

A good series i've missed ?

andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 5:18 pm It needed one leader in there. Neither Llorente or Strujik look like they could organize a pub crawl. Ayling would have been a better option to start.
Jesse probably didn't want to risk Ayling with Villa in mind, pretty sure he was hoping not to use Rodrigo. but as a defeat was on the cards, he had no choice.

Brazilian Ronaldo aka The Goat

Unfortunately some diving Portuguese fraud seems to be the de facto response to that name now, so have to stick to R9
