Nope, wanted him out since his second game. I'd have changed my mind if he'd improved things, but I knew deep down he wouldn't; we've got progressively worse, not better.

Similar to you I had huge reservations from the first day he was appointed and saw very little to change my mind (a few minutes against Southampton when we led 2-0 and during the second half v Chelsea).

I don't think he steadied the ship in any way - losing his first 2 matches in charge made the situation worse so hardly like he steadied the ship. He took over when we had a run of 7 very winnable fixtures. We took 11 points from those 7 matches and I doubt we would have done worse under Bielsa - and if we'd done a bit better in those 7 matches then we likely don't get drawn into the situation where we had to rely on Burnley losing.

I don't wish him any ill I just don't think he is even an average manager and like Cjay says the blame rests with the person who make the god awful decision to hire him.

Radz should get balls deep in Vincent Kompany. Burnley might be on their way back to the PL but we are a miles bigger club with so much more potential. If you don't ask the question, you don't know the answer.

I would like to think that they know who is replacing JM and have confirmed it to some extent. But they may also have worried how toxic ER would be on Wednesday if things go from really, really, really bad to the catastrophic. Once the fans turn the outcome is inevitable.
