Can’t say he fills me with joy tbh.
Would his ego let him do a short contract?
I declare my love for Saint Daniel and I can shoehorn him in to any conversation.

Not like he's being inundated with offers! 18 month contract is fine for me. He could be the modern day George Graham

No idea who new manager will be, may well keep who we have until another is sourced, clueless what all that white smoke bollocks is all about, he seriously needs to lay off twitter.

Wasn't surprised we got a result last neet, could have gone either way in the end, although had Aaronsens free-kick gone in, we'd have gone on to win at 0-3 up.
So much came off , JMs stamp all over it, odd tweak to formation, credit where it's due.
I did say, I expected us to get something from these 2 games, hopefully at least another point at ER, we are much better against sides that want to come out, it gives us space up top, just need to be more clinical.

Unfortunately many see this as a failure on the clubs part. Of course the risk attached to the pursuit of the No1 target is that delaying an appointment may have a detrimental effect on results.
Again this is an outcome that many will jump on if it occurs. The board are damned if they do and damned if they don’t.
Getting the next appointment right is vital.

Based on last nights performance I don’t believe there is any need to panic. The current staff know the players and are just as likely to get the results we need.
Patience is probably the key word currently. As worrying as our current position is settling for second best is not in our interests IMO.
Well said. Like you say it looks like we have our preferred candidate, or two, and are having to negotiate with the club(s) to actually apporach the manager(s). No point simply appointing someone just because they are available, such as a manager currently out of work, if they aren't high on our list. You go for your highest target until you either get them or have to walk away and then go to the 2nd target etc.

Whilst there is a rush there is also no point panicking. We have MU on Sunday and then a week till the nxt game. Even if a new manager was appointed today chances are Skubula ould be taking the team on Sunday whilst the new manager watches them from close-up with a view to then having a week to start making his changes.

Its a catch 22. I said the other day do we get a short term manager in for the rest of the season but if they take us down will our original targets still want the job. You can understand why the Spanish club are holding out. They have a possible CL slot in mind with all the finance that comes with that. A decent manager out of work will want at least a 2 year contract....I would imagine a coach leaving another club will want 4 years security.
