What is noticeable we lack in our squad, we have no one who can take a free-kick.

Aaronson & Harrison's efforts were painfully feeble yesterday.

Aaronson seems decent at getting a cross in. But left footed Roca always seems better at delivering than Harrison. Don't get it with Jackie. Such a great left foot, but must be a mental thing.

As for direct free kicks - How about just seeing Rasmus run up and welly one for a change?

As I say pointless but after our great win yesterday I feel in a playful mood.
No bother Byebye, we can agree on the core point - get 40 points from wherever!

Don’t see anyone getting cross after that win last evening😃

Okay to simplify. Let's say we are in a 3 team league. Us, Liverpool and Fulham.

League 1 - We beat Liverpool, Liverpool beat Fulham, Fulham beat us - we have the same amount of points as Fulham.

League 2 - We lose to Liverpool, Fulham lose to Liverpool, we beat Fulham. We are 3 points better off than Fulham.

League 5 - Liverpool draw aganst Fulham, we draw against Liverpool, we draw against Fulham - we have the same amount of points as Fulham

League 6 - Fulham draw against Liverpool, Liverpool draw against us, we beat Fulham. We are 3 points better off than Fulham.

That’s not simplifying it weasel that’s complicating it! 😂

The fact remains if you get the requisite number of points it makes absolutely no difference whatsoever you get them against.

Yes but if we forget about Liverpool as they are unlikely to be in the relgation mix, Fulham are more likely to be.

This season Fulham and LIverpool drew, Fulham beat us and we beat Pool. As such Fulham are 1 point better off than us from those fixtures. If we lost to Liverpool but beat Fulham we would be 2 points better off then Fulham.

Greenwood has skied three efforts off target for our first team.

Roca is an unknown

So why are the whispering duo taking them?

I would have thought Rodrigo could take a decent free-kick, seen no evidence of one yet.

Thing is if you take points off the so called top 6 or 7 it means you need less points off the other sides to get to the safe mark. If you are getting stuffed by the top 6 or 7 then there is far more pressure on the “lesser” team games. If they could just batter Bournemouth on Saturday the argument starts to hold less & less water

Hypothetically, if we got 36 points off the top 6 then we’d probably have enough points to stay up anyway and we wouldn’t have to beat any of the teams around us. As I say, it doesn’t matter which games your points come from so long as you get enough of them by the end of the season.

Having said that us beating Bournemouth next week rather than them beating us would give us a 6 point swing. 😉😂

That's exactly what happened last year when we got 0 points, but Burnley and Everton were picking up wins against them.

Limbs in the Leeds end

I recognised a few of those faces, three of my pals on MOTM last night

Greenwood will come good, early nerves but his last one was ok.

Agree that Greenwood's efforts from dead ball have been poor so far. He's shown in the reserves that he can hit them. So there's no reason he can't do that in the seniors. It's a maturity/confidence thing. Like Summerville missing chances he would have buried in the reserves. Then he scores 2 in 2 games - looks incredibly sharp and decisive on the winner yesterday. I believe Greenwood will convert his youth level promise at first team level with a little time.

In that it kept Marsch in through the WC break, and meant he was sacked when no other managers were available or willing to step in, this could now go down as the worst result of the season...

Season could have been very different

Quality manager probably takes the job and brings in there players and we aren't in this situation :(

And which quality manager is going to be told what to do by Orta? Realistically it would've been Skubala in charge until the new manager.

I said at the time the replacement won't be any better.

Nah managers would cue up for a Premier league job with the transfer window.

Emery went to villa.

Lopetegui went to Wolves.

Not if those 3 points keep us , keep the faith.
