Charlie has potential, but that's all it is at this stage. As others have said, he needs games to learn the position, learn to read the game, know where to be etc etc. Whether folk like it or not, he's not going to get that with us at present. Get him out and playing and let's see where he is in the summer. I certainly wouldn't be selling him at the moment.

Charlie always looked well ahead of his age group and looked a real star in the making. I’m just wondering whether this was because he matured and developed so much earlier than his contemporaries and that is why he looked so dominant at that level, and now that he’s playing alongside the big boys in the Championship he appears to be struggling.

Still young and still worth keeping for me.

Clubs always tend to favour their own players, rather than the loaned player, the fans generally too.

With this in mind, I agree we should have some sort of recall option, if only to send him somewhere else on loan if he was not going to play for us.

The important point is Charlie will probably play 20+ games at Millwall, he would have got nowhere near that amount of competitive football had he remained at Leeds this season.

Hopefully he'll get some more matches at Millwall and we will know a bit more about what we have with CC. I certainly wouldn't be of the same opinion as many posters on here who would have him in or around the first team at present but it is hard to know what we have when he isn't playing. I can see another loan next year to a championship side but hopefully where he gets to play more.

CC will never ever play in the Prem, think bull in a China shop.

He'll make an impression in League 1, possibly good enough for a lower end Championship team, end of.

The loan was exactly what he needed and he is beginning to figure himself out, as is the case with good defenders. Next year might be too soon for him with us, unless we go down, but hopefully he can keep progressing.

Shame on the club and thank God Charlie said no. This is someone who wants to play for our club. Shame we don't give homegrown talent a chance anymore.

Even if he is doing ok in the championship its still miles away from the standard he will need to reach to perform week in week out in the Premier League. He may well be one for the future i guess only time will tell. If we manage to stay up i dont think we will see him in a Leeds shirt again.

So glad we didn't sell him.

The season long loan was the right move for me. Still believe he's a squad player for us in the premier league next year. If we get relegated, then we definitely need him around.
