Re: Jack Harrison- New contract till 2028

Post by CHAPELALLMAN »

If the improvement is down to the system didn't suit him, then it didn't suit in the first few months of our second season back in the PL as well....

He has played well recently, but I suspect that the main reason for this is that he has been usurped on the left wing by Sinisterra returning from injury, and when Gnonto comes back that's 4 wingers including Summerville vying for 2 starting positions. I can't see Jack being played at 10 again. If Sinisterra were to make the left wing his own, then you have 3 wingers vying for a starting place on the RW.

Personally I think that Sinisterra will prove to be a much more reliable and consistent winger, but long may Jack's improved form continue. He's like that saying about a child that I half remember ; "when he was good he was very good, and when he was bad he was horrid *

Good luck Jack.... AKA Purple Ronnie.

Interesting i thought...? in his interview he's never asked, nor mentions Gracia once. Very unusual for a new player signing. Unless i have only seen the YT shortened version.

Only four English players (Grealish, Kane, Saka, Alexander-Arnold) have created more chances in open play across the last three Premier League seasons than Jack Harrison (118).

That's why he deserves his new contract. He has off games but as people mention, dont all wingers.

Ayling's form has been dire since he signed a new contract, and no doubt it will be the same for Jack. He's started the right way...

Jack up & down like a yo-yo.

Only Koch excelled over the 90 minutes on Sunday.

Normal service has been resumed

Pig sick to know he is likely one of our top 5 earners now.

He did enough to trick the club into giving him a lucrative new contract.

54.5% pass accuracy. Disgraceful stat for a professional footballer.

I wonder if there is a relegation clause in it.

It's why I wasn't thrilled when it was announced. Completely the wrong time to do, it should've been at the end of the season.

Jack Harrison is the first player to get 10 assists for Leeds United in a season since Pablo Hernández in 2018-19 (12) and first to do so with Leeds as a Premier League club since Mark Viduka in 2001-02 (11)
