Javi has done what's been expected of him so far. Got us looking a bit more stable and organised plus picking up points. Too early to say he is the man for the job though. I would prefer to wait and see how the rest of this season pans out then take time over the summer to make the decision.
If i had to make the decision now, then i would go with him.

I like the fact his only focus is to get Leeds to safety. If he does that then the board will have a decision to make, and Javi of course. He may choose to sail off into the sunset with his bonus in tow.

Bit like JM , keep us up and he's done the job but no one realized he couldn't take us forward...can JG take us forward if he keeps us up?
With better quality players maybe yes but ultimately this is what we need...better quality players or we'll be in this position year after year.

And an owner who doesn't think finishing 17th on the cheap is an achievement.

That is the big question. So far Gracia has impressed me more in his 4 games in charge than JM did in the matches he was in charge of us last season (or this). When we played the Brentford match last season my feeling was that even if we stayed up we would only be kicking the can down the road and would be in this position this season if JM stayed in charge.

Hadn't been paying much attention but saw Rayo Vallecano lost today to Atletico Madrid.

Since Jesse Marsch was sacked and our interest in Andoni Iraola became known there form has tanked.

5 draws 3 defeats

19th in the La Liga form table last 8 games

I have noticed that. Might’ve dodged a bullet.

I think Gracia would keep us us no problem it depends what you mean by progression. Without Wober i would say no manager progresses us. He's far more savvy in targeting the right games and much more pragmatic than JS imo. We must have a defencive rebuild if we stay up and add some creativity in the middle. Lets hope yesterday was a blip by the players. I think they thought they had the game won.

It's easy to forget that Wober
  • came into the squad a game or two prior to Jesse's sacking and the difference was massive. There were so many games under Marsch in which individual errors in the back cost us points. When Wober doesn't play we it a huge blow to our results. It can't be overstated what he means to any managers results. Wober, Adams and Gnoto were great signings and are desperately missed when not on the pitch.

Whatever league we are in next season we will need a major reset.

For me I’d do everything to convince Potter to take up the reigns. Someone who also needs a reset and has something to prove.

Great track! Not sure if you’ve heard Auerbach’s latest work with the Arcs. Also pretty good music.

Cant wait for the next merry go round of managers names so they can be criticised and told they are s**t, are too negative, never done anything of note in other leagues, and so on and so on............but it makes for fun reading

I'm telling you now, IT DOES NOT MATTER WTF IT IS - Go and get Pep, go and get Poch etc etc etc .....they will NOT, i repeat NOT, be able to work with what our clown throws at them, for starters the defence needs a complete overhaul, and where's the money coming from huh ? And how many fcking defenders has mophead bought ffs ??? Wtf do we do with all our Firpo etc cast offs coz no fcker will buy them.

We have a keeper now who's confidence looks shot.
We've got fck knows how many shite defenders that you couldn't even put a 'closing down sale' sign on.
We've got players out on loan that aren't exactly ripping up trees!
And our youth system will be retire'd and claiming their pension before they come through, and are totally unproven at a high level.

Then we got a bigger box of broken biscuits than McVities.

The futures bright innit.
