Re: Next Manager
It's quite simple really.
We need another Bert.
Where the fck do we find one, especially now we're in the Championship ?
Well done chaps
Even a Bert imposter might not be good enough.

Reading online Aaronson is a massive fan of Gerrard, used to have his posters on his wall as a kid. Says it may influence Aaronson to stay, if Gerrard gets the job.

And if the only deciding factor was "Whatever it takes to make Aaronson stay...."

Carlos Corberan’s future at West Brom is in doubt as Leeds United consider hiring him as manager after a £2m release clause in his contract emerged. [Daily Mail] #LUFC

Re: Next Manager
It's between Brendan Rodgers
and Steven Gerrard.
Brendan is well qualified and has a proven track record at Championship level, whereas Leeds' Amewican owners might just want one of their own in L A Galaxy Gerrard, again well qualified in knowing the english game.
A wild card option would be Phil Parkinson who has guided four teams to promotion.

Re: Next Manager
Given today's s***e and the current uncertainty regarding Radz and the 49ers, who in their right mind would engage with Leeds at the moment regarding a contract?
Re: Next Manager
I’d fancy Rodgers or Corberan. Gerrard needs to earn his stripes a bit more.

Re: Next Manager
Guess we wouldn’t have been interested 12 months ago , had we gone down then, with any of the top 6 championship managers this season just ended.
Just saying.

You see what we've come up with from the bottom of the barrel since Bielsa was booted
I've made the point on different threads that this summer was gonna be tough anyway, due to the fact that the World Cup has shortened the off season.
Things to sort out in two months:
Ownership, it appears that the vermin Radz is staying, but that again creates uncertainty and constant debate with the 49ers over any decisions. We've witnessed how well that's gone so far.
The major squad overhaul, that should have been done and dusted over the past three seasons is still waiting. Hence the mess we're in on the field.
Our poor squad is down to Radz giving the keys and putting complete faith in Orta. Next on the list, a new Director Of Football. Does anyone have 1% of trust that Radz and Kinnear can appoint a good DOF?
Cos I 100% don't trust those two parasites.
Any coach coming in needs time to prepare the players during pre-season and let's face it these players are unfit, tactically inept, devoid of confidence, lacking quality and comfortable with surrendering in every match. So good luck turning that round in a short period.
But at least that fat cnut McKennie has fucked off, that's a good start
As you say Dave, other than someone with a slate loose, who is gonna be licking their lips at the prospect of joining our gong show?
We will get someone, as everyone loves payday, but there's more chance of me winning the lottery than there is of the two lyme disease ticks plucking out another Bielsa.
I envision this summer being another cluster f**k, as leopards don't change their spots. I sincerely hope I'm wrong, or we can start preparing for League One in 2024-25.

Re: Next Manager
Another Bert ? You know yourself there's only one !
Not sure with all the shenanigans behind the scenes right now that much positive will be coming out . Sooner Radz isn't involved the better imo , his attention is on Samp , his new toy. Leeds is an old used toy that has no use for him now , other than to fund his new one . Vicious circle with him and fans now , if we say anything we are wrong and everything he does will be under scrutiny by us ( rightly so ) as to how it affects Leeds .Samp may be in his interest but it's of none to us other than how it impacts on Leeds.
Next manager though ...... Who would want to be involved in a scenario like this , with any sense , no one. You would need a lunatic, or get one . I can see only friction too with 49ers and Radz , not going to benefit the playing side going forward.....,at best the club is in a huge state of limbo.Best for all if Radz does some f**king off elsewhere imo .
