The gamekeeper has just finished setting up 20 pens to breed pheasants so that rich twats can shoot them out of the sky

there will be 10000 of them (pheasants not rich twats)

my house is just the other side of the copse behind the pens

Achmelvich on the West Coast of Scotland. Hard work to get there driving a Motorhome but worth it if the weather is good.

I was just blown away by this statue. I can't imagine how someone can take a chunk of stone and create such a life like image. The fact that it was done several hundred years ago is even more phenomenal.

It's in the cathedral museum in Milan Jay. I just stood looking at it, not believing that someone could do that.

Remarkable. Like you say it’s done from a lump of stone with presumably fairly rudimentary tools of the time.

I grow chillies, so thought I'd share a photo collage of my Sugar Rush Stripey Chillies.
It's a Capsicum Baccatum, and they are spicy. Between 50 and 100,000 Scoville, so hot like a Thai Chilli.

The light green one is the younger version.
They take a couple of months to ripen to stripiness.
Forgot to mention, they are the best chilli I have ever tasted. They are sweet like a red pepper ( hence the sugar rush ), but have a wicked kick.

If you like spicy you will not be disappointed. If you just like beautiful plants they are also awesome.
