Need to keep this lad...best weve produced since Lennon/Milner..hes a Leeds lad and will fight for the cause more than the player/players his transfer cash will fund..lets see him develope with us instead of on match of the day at a lesser club :|

If you look at the sums paid for Walcott and Oxalade-Chamberlain as promising youngsters I'd say Byram would be markedly undervalued at 2m.

That matters not. We must not sell another young talent.

Let's just hope GFHC have their heads in the right place with policies like this. Developing your own talent is a fantastic strategy, and one that can work at a club of our size that shouldn't need to sell players in order to compete. Makes it very hard to stick to this strategy when you're selling off every whiff of talent at the first opportunity.

Is this an example of a player being overrated in the past?
West Ham seem to want to get rid of him.

Would anyone want him back (doubt it could or would
happen though, especially in regard to wage demands ) ?

Agents & premiership money is the problem where decent championship footballers are touted & encouraged to leave their clubs for financial reasons even though they are not good enough to play top level football

No thank you as far Sam returning to Leeds as we already have three RB's, two of them as good or better than Byram

Won't be happy if this is the standard of player we're looking to get!

Don’t forget it’s important to have experience in the dressing room. Plus if they’ve got a free bus pass then lowers the travel bill. Win win
