This season is already a shambles by the looks of it...
Just venting spleen but...
Seriously? What a hecking mess this club is in! Everyone it seems is jumping ship. I'm hearing even Gelhardt is leaving now. Would I be right in thinking that we kick off the new season in 2 weeks? We have signed 1 player. 3 or 4 of our best players will miss the start of the season. Firpo is still here. Nobody wants to come here. We will be fortunate to avoid a relegation scrap at this rate. What a shambles...

Gelhardt? Is he. Where’s he going?
I declare my love for Saint Daniel and I can shoehorn him in to any conversation.

I feel your pain victor, I really do, the club has to start again, very unfortunate the take over was interspersed with the relegation and no manager.Victor_Notts-17 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 24, 2023 8:22 am Just venting spleen but...

We really are in a mess, we now have new owners and a manager, it dosen't help that the manager has very little time to see who still has LU passion about them, the whole sorry mess was down to orta and radz also to a large degree kinnear who's still here !!
I don't expect too much this season as it's probably asking a lot than is acceptable from farke and his team, but, they have my full backing, stay with it brother .

One thing I have learnt on this forum is to ignore the people I don't like. The easiest way to do that is stick them on your 'Foes' list (then you no longer see their 5h1te). I have one person on my foes list (and surprisingly to some: it's not Kenny)

Yeah Lecce are showing interest in Joffy.
I'm fairly sure he has long-term contract at Leeds so unless Farke has no plans to play him then he's going nowhere.

Never happy unless we are complaining

It's not really a complaint though is it? It's an observation! A correct one at that

Well it keeps the board ticking over Ian. We'll be a feeder club for Rotherham at this rate. All those rats jumping ship, no loyalty in this game any more. I guess they have another overseas mansion to pay for. However, I get why Joffy may want to leave though. I am sure the 49ers board know what they're doing (whoever they are) if they want a return on their asset. I can't see them doing it Ken Bates style, lubing up and shafting the club dry for years.

It was always going to be a period of transition and in the champ you can get away with a slow start. Still weeks left until the transfer window closes, Ampadu will be the first of a few signings of players that actually want to be here - I still believe we will go up next season but completely understand the mind set of those who don’t - one thing I’m sure of is I bet you all hope I’m right!

There's going to be players leaving because they won't take lower wages or they think the Championship is beneath them when they are the ones that got us relegated, most of the players with exception were awful, we still have a lot of dead wood too.
I wonder how many people on this forum would be happy with the squad we had last season going into the new season, for me I'm glad they have gone, with the exception of Rodrigo and Wober.
Harrison has a relegation clause in his, I expected him to be gone already.
Also Farke will want players to suit his style.

This reminds me so much of the last time we went down the club hasn’t learnt anything from the last time.
Last time all the money from the player sales went into paying of debt this time the players are leaving on loan so no money to spend on new players.
So loans and free agents make up the squad.

Tbh, all of the players who have left so far, i fully expected them to leave when we were relegated.
What i didn't expect was that they'd all go out on loan and we wouldn't get a transfer fee for them.
I still think we'll lose Sinisterra, Gnonto and Adams too, probably on deadline day.

I'd hate you lose Joffy as he will be a top player at some stage. A big game player
It must be a nightmare at the club with so much uncertainty and the first fixture looming large on the horizon.
