Forgot to add, Gray was outstanding.

Ayling too, an all-round team performance though that, Ampadu also impressive, good simple stuff, CC seems to have come on a little with his possession based stuff, Jimmy non-stop.

In fact no shirkers at all.

PB would've been the difference, playing the line allowing the three behind to sneak in, he would've had two today, i don't particularly see where TA fits in unless he goes 3, although i do feel he could play in a 4 behind the striker, tough call for DF.

We'd have battered these with a fit Bamford on the pitch today...

You need to winnyour home games draw isn't good enough cardiff were a poor team. Farke has a lot to do before transfer window shuts. This squad nowhere near good enough for top 8 finish. And will probably loose a couple more before window shuts

Just go away you negative prat! We just drew from 0-2 down and we looked brilliant second half!

We know every team will use the same tactic against us, except Leicester and Southampton. Not everyone will be as lucky as Cardiff. Some we'll win comfortably, others we'll draw or lose, but that's the reality of what will happen.

We all know issues exist.

We know we need 4,5 players.

A draw against Cardiff isn't a great result by any means.

But we showed character and fight 2nd half and hopefully the issues 1st half motivate the powers at the club to get a move on.

Showing fight is important to (a quality lacking last season)

We need a long range specialist. Our players were trying to pass it through a crowded area far too much. Incidentally the goal came from Sini shooting from range.

Stick a proper 10 able to pick quick incisive passes and a 9 able to hold the ball up and play off and we batter Cardiff today.

We need players in key areas.

But you don't see a team having 20+ shots and not winning often

Key additions should neutralise the issues hopefully

He's been with them 5 weeks, players and youngsters he never even knew and he's got them playing and moving for each other and has obviously got the style of play he wants across rapidly.

It will get better, straight away he should see that Byram is better than Hjelde, and Pov should start next along with PB if fit.

We WILL concede goals because he wants the wingbacks forward as much as poss supporting the play and build up.

A helluva lot more positives than negatives to be taken from that.

Mate you need to lose the arrogance about teams in this league.
Anyone can beat anyone from top to bottom.
So called big clubs will have to fight just as hard as the rest. There are no easy games.

As I said earlier we a a very early work in progress and of course there are obvious flaws that need addressed. Hopefully some of them will be by the time the transfer window closes at the end of the month.

Edit. Also we have an injury crisis already, So we have the possibility of players coming back too
But bloody hell if you cant enjoy it I wonder why you bother?

That was a great comeback, character we didn’t see year. Sinisterra needs to be on the left, Summerville in the middle is gold, and poveda was great in the creative energy and penetration from the right. Gnonto up top is good, and I’d like to us start again with him up top, si is in the left, Summerville the middle and poveda on the right. Ampadu and Archie more than solid. So frustrating that our defense lets in those two, I’d bet Darlow starts next week and maybe it’s mostly for his ability to marshal the defense better.

Aah Bisto. That second half took me back 3 years. Total dominance in possession and we should score 3/4. It was wave after wave of relentless forward attacking whilst watching the other team slowly running out of steam and composure. If it takes a couple of season to fit the right pieces into the jigsaw then i'm ok with that.

Great second half battering of Cardiff. Deserved 3 points for the performance, but then Cardiff got lucky in the first half. Ampadu looks class and hardly put a foot wrong. Gray can only get better as he gains in experience.

All in all, excellent. I've got a good feeling. 🙂

Yep, I was thinking the same, especially when the oppo has the two banks of four set up.

A shot through a crowd at an unsiighted keeper with the chance of a deflection is a good weapon to have.
