I can't imagine they'll go the full ninety; I certainly hope they won't.

Aarons is going to Bournemouth: hijacked us at the last minute after everything was just about done! The Subhuman wrote: ↑Wed Aug 09, 2023 6:01 pm Drameh has a year left, Aarons would have been a better long term option. Get Aarons and sell Drameh if he's not willing to extend his contract

I dodn't think it would put any team off if he was cup tied for this cup. The FA Cup maybe but this is just a pot that the players will p*ss in if they win it.

We can't compete with the likes of BournemouthVictor_Notts-17 wrote: Aarons is going to Bournemouth: hijacked us at the last minute after everything was just about done!

Better to risk them from the start in the hope that we get to a point where we are cruising and then bring them off. Makes more sense than to be cruising and then bring on your only fit striker like a certain 'manager' did last year.John in Louisiana wrote: ↑Wed Aug 09, 2023 5:56 pm Why are we risking Ampadu and Gray on this game?

Urrgh!

You'd think not but it isn't just about the cup tie

Looks like Perkins and Bate are considered too far away from 1st team by FarkeKennyb41 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 09, 2023 6:41 pm Can read a lot into that imo, starting with the bench : Not a fcking scoobie why 2 keepers unless Mes is fcking off, anyhoos :
16Perkins : Obviously doesn't rate him, so he's looking what Joffy can do coz of current injuries.
21Struijk : Doesn't wanna risk him coz of LC
23Sinisterra : Knows what he's about, and probably one of the first on the team sheet, so doesn't wanna risk him.
25Byram : Knows what he's about and is now probably in front of Hjelde.
26Bate : Mustn't rate him.
37Drameh : Probably on his way out/ might be saving him if Ayling has to play CH Saturday.
46Moore : Making up the numbers.

Ampadu is playing at the backKennyb41 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 09, 2023 6:50 pm And the 11 :
Darlow : Quite obvious.
17Shackleton : Trying him where Bert used him a couple of times, flying down the line.
2Ayling : He's gotta find options now LC fcked.
5Cresswell : Had to play him tonight, still figuring stuff out, options again.
33Hjelde : Probably LB, possibly CH with CC, figuring stuff out coz we're fcked at the back.
18Gyabi : Interesting this, seeing what he's like with Ampadu in case he has to use him in the future.
4Ampadu : See above
27Poveda : I think he's starting Saturday, probably defo now Jimmy fcked
22Gray : Potential No. 10 for us, he's looking at him there.
20James : Nothing surprising, he needs minutes.
30Gelhardt : Nothing surprising his hands are tied, and worth trying anyway, depends on the set up.

My point was...the mighty Bournemouth! Just like the mighty Luton or Burnley.whiteswan wrote: Not Bournemouth, the Premier League. Footballers will always choose any Prem Club over any Championship club. We'd better get used to it
