Recorded the game and watched it when I got home after night shift, I tried reading the match thread but got bogged down wading through the usual negative bollocks that takes up half those posts.
Thought it was a good performance from a team that is obviously not DFs first choice, would have preferred the win but it is what it is.
Liking the stance on how he picks the team, train hard, work hard and you'll start. Be a petulant man child and you can train on your own. Doesnt it say somewhere Side before self?.
As for his subs bench I'd say that's a not so subtle dig at the board that the cupboard is bare and he needs more players in before he can get things working the way he wants them to.
Only 3 games played, still a long way to go yet and I'd expect by new year our position in the league will be a more accurate indicator of DF and his methods.

I like the message it sends to the young players too - that they need to up their effort/performance to get a chance. It then gives Farke the chance to see their atttitude, do they really want it, will they give everything or are they just sulkers who he doesn't need. I do think that if there wasn't the U21s game being played on the same day he may have included a couple of the lads though but better for them, such as Perkins, to get a good run out rather than being an unused sub for the first team.

Makes me wonder if they're holding off on new signings in the hope that we'll get Sinisterra and Summerville back

Not saying we won't make signings. But I think they're still unsure about what signings we need to prioritize.

I'd be very surprised if we see Sinisterra play for us ever again, Andy.

It's a shame, because he's our most talented player, imo.

The thing is. Farke has said that he's hoping by end of window the picture will be clearer. I read that as he's hoping a couple of players are still here and they get their acts together.

Farke started the whole discussion with "Siinisterra is a different situation to Gnonto." We've also heard from an insider via Phil Hay that Sinisterra's contract was a legal issue. Basically saying he can't leave. Could be that the legal issue is over a loan clause. Idk. Then Kinnear said yesterday he only thinks we'll lose one more. Well Adams left and Gnonto threw in another transfer request. A lot of it suggests they're hoping Sinisterra stays.

Maybe Sinisterra has said privately that he wants to move but he'll also play if he doesn't get a move. All speculation of course. But there's enough coming from the Leeds hierarchy to suggest they want to keep him.

I think he's already been classed as lost

I did say on another thread that we should loan out Costa asap. That way we'll have maxed out our international loans and won't be allowed to make any more.
