DF also noted "a few concerns about Dan James"--that and his talking up of Sini during the presser could mean Sini on the left?

I'd be happy to see that. We won't risk him though if we're looking to move him in the next 6 days

Good point--the attempted deal for Paintsil, which seems to now be stalling, might be indicative of future movement for Sini.

A counter to that though is that DF has repeatedly stated, and shown, that players must be 100% focused/committed in training, hence why Sini was originally training separately (i.e., the contract/legal issue he referenced). Would he bring Sini back into training, and the team, if the current plan is to move him on in the next six days?

I reckon a draw wouldn't be the worst, but I am more interested in seeing how they play.

Shiny new signing Piroe on the bench.

With James doubtful I think Sini will start and Wee Willy will be om the bench
That's my thought

Funny how we lose a winger every week without getting a new one back. Poveda last week. James this week. And no injury returns yet

Sini and Gnonto might both have to come right back in

I doubt Piroe will start so soon. But longer term, he does allow us to play Rutter on the RW.

Gnonto, Summerville, Sinisterra and Piroe are all with the team at the hotel.

We have a plethora of forwards now, let's hope DF knows how to use them . If this lot can't score regularly in this league I don't know who can. Get in a decent 10 and we'll be looking in fine fettle.

I think it will be the same starting line-up as v WBA. Farke showed with Rodon that he prefers to give a new signing a week to get to know new teammates and his system before he plays them. By selecting the same line-up it also says to Sini and WG that they aren't as vital to us as they think they are and they can't simply waltz back into the team (or any other dance you prefer, an exqusite merengue would be my choice).

The only changes for me would be down to injuries such as WG/LS coming in for Dan James. Having the other players on the bench also gives us 3 potential match changers to bring on - a few cry from the last 2 games.

Right back Janoi Donacien is out for Ipswich.

Centre back Cameron Burgess is a late fitness doubt

Striker George Hirst also facing a late fitness test

Got goals in their team.

Conor Chaplin is a tricky intelligent player and got 29 goals last season.

Freddie Ladapo got 21.

And winger Marcus Harness managed 8 as well.

Will be a real test for us and Kieran McKenna is a very talented young coach whose only lost 12 of over 80 games.

Hopefully Jimmy is back in training v soon and poveda should be back possible for Salford giving DF a real attacking headache in terms of selection not forgetting PB who will no doubt come back all guns blazing. We have 2 forward lines so our bench will look much stronger with plenty of game changers on it...bar PB of course.

Coached at Scum under The Special One , another good reason to put them in their place tomorrow.

So Ipswich are a very good ex-League One side playing against a Leeds team with the majority of players who have Premier League experience.

Things are looking up now for Leeds United. Might be too early to expect a win today, but once we get the new guys settled into Farke’s system I think we’ll be heading up the league sharpish. I’d be content with a draw today combined with a performance that shows a bit of promise.

Btw, well done to Farke and the 49ers, they’ve played a blinder with regard to the Sinisterra and Gnonto situations.

Come on Leeds!

So you believe Rutter will start at 9 rather than Piroe. I would be very surprised if Piroe doesn’t start. The Farke system suits Piroe’s game far more than it suits Rutter.

I do yes, similar to Cresswell keepinmg his place after Rodon signed and then after a week at Leeds Rodon started.
