Not unhappy! You get what you pay for (unless you’re Victor Orta), and £5m based on one decent game, is hardly a recommendation for a Pablo replacement. We need to keep our powder dry and carry on searching.

Deal may be back on.

Player wasn't convinced about playing 2nd division football.

And also had the issue of thinking about what's best for his family (his wife is heavily pregnant).

Cjay, is he the type of player we need ? I know nothing of him.

Would it be a case of either him or Kamara ?

So what’s convinced him. Us beating the Tractors or his wife fancies Yorkshire

Was understandably concerned about our poor start.

And his wife is due to give birth in a matter of a few weeks.

But seems the win vs Ipswich has made him reconsider

Don't know huge about him.

Remember he was highly rated once upon a time but seemed to struggle a bit once Julian Nagelsmann left Hoffenheim.

His numbers in the Bundesliga are decent (pretty similar to Ilias Chair in the Championship goal and assist wise which is impressive).

He looks a more creative attacking midfielder type which we don't have.

In the YouTube videos (I know can't judge to much) he does seem to play a lot of those through balls Pablo used to.

Understandable on the baby front. Don’t want to be messing about with moving etc.

Well that's not his fault is it? :roflmao:

So does that mean his kid will be able to play cricket for Yorkshire?

Now this type of thing makes sense to me, match his salary for the time being, then up it on promotion...

"Amiri does not want to spend more than one season in the Championship, which was one of his previous concerns after Leeds’ poor start to the season, as well as the fact that his wife is heavily pregnant.

It now seems that after Leeds’ first win of the season, as well as the additions of Joël Piroe, and Gnonto and Sinisterra returning to the fold, Amiri is having a change of heart about his rejection.

Leeds have agreed a €6million deal with Bayer Leverkusen and have agreed to match the players salary, and even increase it upon the event of promotion.
