Once he has players available we will see.

But four up means you will be outnumbered in midfield and will be overloaded at times.

But having those 4 in the lineup will be entertaining once they gel.
Exactly,

There's bound to be faults, and all over the shop there were faults, but i'm sure he's got the nous to be going over them,

Jeez those front 4 don't really even know each other, it can only get better, get your bets on.

Anybody know if DF brought his own backroom staff, coaches and all the other components of a managers entourage or is he making the best of what was left from the previous regime?

Looking like an inspired manager already, liking the no nonsense approach and his man managing skills of Gnonto etc.

Not really bothered at the moment how many goals we ship, as long as we keep winning or at least show passion and commitment. He'll get to grips with the defence soon enough

I think some here need to decide what they want, them 4 of ours yesterday have ALL got goals in them, but oppo's are gonna work out our weakness's, so what do we do ? Do we put faith in them 4 being the best in the Championship but we'll come unstuck from time to time or what ?

BHA yesterday got out thought by Moyes and he countered them excellently for the unexpected win, look at the stats on that game.

Kennyb41 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 27, 2023 11:22 am Then it's correct yesterday.
I would say gut feeling would’ve been Ipswich won the XG.
There’s some fairly complex reasoning behind it which I don’t profess to completely understand. Can be the build up that converts in to a higher or lower XG.

I simply started by asking some simple questions to Cjay, and he and others went all fcking haywire ffs.
Not having a go at you Kenny, just in general, we seem not to be able to enjoy a win when it comes along ( i know they are few and far apart :) )

I think it must do, the way i could look at it yesterday is - How many times did i think " Oh fck they could score here, get the fcker away ffs"....now that happened a lot, way too much for comfort, and a lot to be worked on, on a different day, a different team could've had 4 goals, we were wide open at times.

What they didn't do well yesterday or execute, was what teams have mainly being doing to us and cutting the ball back for someone to run onto and strike.

Our chances found the back of the net yesterday, i'm pretty sure there wasn't as many chances as them.

Yeah, that's what i'm saying.

Tactically some things have to be wrong, but ffs say what you think they are, we won, we scored 4 goals so something must be right.

We conceded 3, so something must be wrong (it could've been 6)

But to just say " DF got it ALL TOTALLY wrong "..is just a blanket statement, and i set about just asking him where he thought he got it ALL wrong, back it up ffs.

That game yesterday was absolutely edge of yours seats brilliant - for the neutral, but obviously for the winner.

Imagine how would you feel if we lost that game? Coz it could've happened quite easily, now why ?

It's no point just knocking Ayling etc all the time if you can't see what they're trying to do offensively, i really felt that that linesman was totally against us all the time and wanted to see replays (it drove me feckin daft that did)...but then i realised it could be our stupid lot waving their hands in the air trying to hail a feckin taxi instead of getting on with it, and me screamin..." HE AIN'T ON YOUR SIDE TODAY..PLAY TO THE FCKIN WHISTLE YA DUMB TWATS"

I thought it a lot tbh.
Even at 4-2. If their 3rd comes a few minutes earlier….
The lad behind me said “it’s clear they have some PL players, if we had that we’d piss this”. That was definitely the difference tractor man.
I was impressed with Ipswich. A really good side to watch.
They were bemoaning not having their usual keeper. Not sure he’d have made a difference tbh.

I bet most here were glad to hear the final whistle, i know i was.

Ipswich were good, but they also lacked defensively, but even in saying that, it still took some individual brilliance from ours to win.

Ahh, you mean you were sat in the Ipswich end and it was their fans saying that ?

If that's the case, yes, i agree, we could've been severely punished at times.

Yeah it was edge of the seat job for me. Mainly cos of that f**king pillar getting in the way. Can’t they make them out of something see through.

I think it contributed to a great game. I don’t mind a seven goal thriller when we win. Mind you had that gone the other way, which it easily could’ve, there would have carnage on here. Fisticuffs and allsorts

I'm well happy we've won, but there's a lot to pick apart.

Sinisterra imo was nowhere near the motm, he was good yes - at going forward, he showed some individual skill in scoring which gives most a hard on, he didn't play bad, he just could've done a helluva lot more, i also doubted his fitness level.

Willy was a little wonka, same again, all good going forward, but there's a lot to work on him for me, which will make him even better.

Piroe and Rutter showed they could be a good pairing, interchanging, dropping deep etc, Piroe especially, it was hard to fathom out their roles or instructions DF had given them (i don't think he'd give them many tbh)...them 4 seemed to be a bit of a handful that will destroy some of the shite defences in the Championship, but they also created a bit of a handful for our defence, which is a concern.

But i think overall what Weasel has said "we will score more than the opponent"...but we're gonna be open to the fast break - So what do you want ?

Where's Victor and the boring BGWhite ?

This was my first question for the post match debate...

Tactically Farke has got this totally wrong

What a blanket statement.

Go on then, give us a clue, where's he got it all totally wrong ?

Now can somebody please tell me where i went wrong in asking those questions ?

What's so abusive, go back and check my posts ?
