Gotcha.

I didn't see the game or even notice that CC wasn't in the squad.

At this point in the season I see it this way.
If the club is really serious about a big push for promotion then the likes of Ayling and Cooper will suffice. Experience is important there.
If those are not the goals then use them as rotation players and develop Cresswell as starter.

The investment we made suggests a push for promotion and imo we will easily be playoffs if we can keep the manager and survive the January window with Willy and Jimmy still n board.
