Just listened to a couple of tracks off it and it's shockingly bad.

Surely be one of the worst things to win in these polls, if it does.
A generational thing, Sara. just like the Beatles & Stones are for me.

It was a No.1 album at the time, so the MSP album was always one of the favourites to win this poll.

Nowhere near in the same class as the Stones or the Beatles, of course!

Oh I agree, a band I do my very best to avoid as I do Oasis who are probably worse.

Gone now, as I thought Durly & Nick would be our saving grace, sadly not.

I'm happy with second spot, as I didn't expect the Beta Band to be in the top five of this poll, not bad when you consider the popularity of the MSP, and The Three EPs making no impact in the charts.

Still remains one of my favourite albums of the 90s. despite not being a big fan of that decade.

Strangely enough when I nominated the 3 EPs, I didn't know you & Faaip or the other folk who voted for the album were fans of the Beta Band. I suspected it would score ten points from Jill & myself & that would be it, doomed into the dungeons, totally surprised :o

A runner-up spot for a totally unknown/underrated album is fine by me :-D

What a prat I am. Just realised I didn't give Refused any points, when I should have given them a minimum 4.

Well done Riot... and I finish last, for the first time I think. Ironically with an album I put up for it's safeness.
