Didn't see today's game, cracking result in the end. Poor first half?

I don't know what the orders were, he seemed, like Byram, to be playing further forward than he did last time out. We've seen the same issue with Shack and Ayling. Allowing the winger in behind too easily. I thought he fought back well in the second whereas Byram didn't get going at all. Sam fell into the same trap three times.

Not for me no, we edged the first half but fell foul of an early well taken header and a bit of quality for the second. We did create more clear cut chances with Summerville twice, Rutter, James, Kamara and, probably the easiest chance of all, Piroe all going just wide

We weren’t poor - it was fairly even the only difference was they scored twice from a half chance and a piece of individual brilliance and we missed a fair few good opportunities. It was good end to end stuff.
We just controlled the game better in the 2nd half but maintained a good attacking tempo.

Also wasn't able to see the game live today - looking forward to casting it from LUTV.
From the comments, sounds like a good one, and great result.
But again gave up an early goal. What's with that?
Summerville must've played a blinder?

I don't think Farke has done anything better than tons of managers would and I said from the start I wasn't a fan and had concerns (even your idol Weasel understood them)

His subs worked well today, so that's good.

Incidentally Weasel time to come back now
Come on Cjay.

Farke has done a fantastic job under extreme circumstances in his opening two months of his Leeds career.

I'm unsure why you are so critical of him :duno:

Need to remember he is 17 when he comes up against a decent team and quality opposite number a few errors are to be expected.
Im not happy playing him there. He was ineffective and imo contributed to our defensive woes and theirsecond goal.

Rodon and Ampadu struggled because of trying to help him out.

He linked up with James zero times going forward

I want him in midfield where I believe he will learn more and become a key player for us.

I seem to tune in after it’s finished.

IP** 😉
Its only on when the match is actually being played I bellieve, Finn.

I watch the full replay of matches on the official LUTV channel, which is generally shown the day after the match.

Respectfully disagree.

His subs worked today and he deserves credit for that.

But I don't consider his job fantastic.

Adequate maybe

But am pleased we are stringing wins together, it was necessary

Nobody is criticising farke it is the team that is the issue and that is down to the owners
We pulled a two goal deficit back today but it won't happen every week the same problems still exist on a regular basis
We are third now but the points gap ain't changed if Ipswich win their game in hand
We need to keep winning nearly every week to keep in touch with the top two and it won't happen

BlackHillsPaul wrote: ↑Sat Oct 21, 2023 4:37 pm I agree Kenny. And my perspective is that we gave up an unfortunate early set piece goal. Maybe that's on the Manager or maybe it's just poor execution. But for me that's the worst thing that happened today. The goal by Gabriel Sara was just a bit of genius from the little Brazilian. Well done to him.

Bottom line is that Farke made tactical changes. We continued to fight. And we ultimately scored enough goals to win. So it's three important points away from home against one of the better sides in the Championship. And we are up to THIRD in the table.

And yes, we are clearly still a work in progress. This group is still learning how DF wants them to play. And how to play with one another. But I like the football, the effort, and the spirit in the club. And I won't get caught up in the emotion of the moment when we go down a goal or two.
