Re: Peterborough Utd v Leeds Utd Match Thread
Pity Joffy is injured, that lad badly needs minutes.
I'd like to progress, the only reason being that I hope we get drawn against a PL side, that would be a good gauge of tbe strength of this team. .. Plus the feelgood factor too a cup run brings.

Joffy is injured for lots of matches and needs to be sold this window. As to playing a PL side we won get smashed, this current team is just not good enough. If we get promoted this year i believe only 3 or 4 players could play in the PL
Leeds need a great summer 2026 with outgoings and incoming players

If Farke is being dishonest then he is in line with all the other managers in football. They only say what they need to or what the press or fans want to hear.
You cant tell everyone exactly what goes on behind closed doors. Even with those football documentaries that follow teams around day in day out they dont let you know every single detail, especially personal stuff.

Re: Peterborough Utd v Leeds Utd Match Thread
I’ll reply for him.
Just google “Spurs, Spence, attitude, transfer” and you’ll be rewarded with a page full of stories about Spurs immediately putting Spence up for sale upon his return from Leeds.
Of course, it’s impossible to verify the truth about these stories , they could all be facsimiles of one single story, perhaps even one started by this forum. Who knows?
As for DF being dishonest, I might suppose pjm (who I can’t claim an affinity for) thinks if the Postie at Spurs can cite attitude problems, then why can’t Mr Farke?
I don’t subscribe to this argument myself, just hypothesising.

Certain people on here have a funny way of trying to put words into DF's mouth.

Relatively strong side out, personally I wouldn’t have had Rodon anywhere near the starting 11 but there you go.

I do agree, but it also tells me he talks to his players, especially with Ampadu included as well.Barlow Boy wrote: ↑Sun Jan 07, 2024 1:01 pm Relatively strong side out, personally I wouldn’t have had Rodon anywhere near the starting 11 but there you go.

Surprised Cooper only on the bench unless he is carrying a knock

I’m assuming Ampadu is at CB.
Can only imagine the writing is in the wall for Charlie Cresswell now, not even in the squad for an FA Cup tie v Peterborough speaks volumes.

PS is slightly injured atm, and we know LC is quite brittle and has recently been carrying one thing or another.
