Have a bad feeling about this one.

A makeshift lineup for us, to be sure. Looking at it I can't be sure at all how everyone is going to be positioned. It means at least two or three playing positions outside their comfort zones (unless, possibly, Archie is moving in to his comfort zone).

They're a League One side, but a very good one, and in a good run of form. Hope we survive.

The line up is more of a default rather than specifically expressing players roles. If Shacks plays one of the suggested double pivot roles on paper - I think he will play more box to box and Gruev will sit in front of the back three. However, with Firpo in the side he will need the cover like Kamara offers. It may depend on who DF wants to play more progressively. It could be a combination of both. Of course Shack could be RB and Archie play in the middle.

What are his options without Rodon or Amps in the team. We don’t really know the reasoning behind CC’s absence. But I agree an injury to either would be a blow.

Damn was hoping to see CC today, guess he's a goner then Good to see Shack back, but Ampadu, Gray and Rodon should all be rested, especially as they play every international game too. Would've liked to see an u21 on the bench and one of Rutter/Jimmy rested.

Not sure what to make of today. Our cup record is woeful, I'd like to see us get a win for a change.

Joffy is injured for lots of matches and needs to be sold this window. As to playing a PL side we won get smashed, this current team is just not good enough. If we get promoted this year i believe only 3 or 4 players could play in the PL
