It's been a while since we've gone 2 games without scoring
Re: Blackburn Rovers Post match discussion
Poor passing because the movement is poor because they are coached poorly by a manager whose only instruction is pass it to Jimmy and Georgie.Kennyb41 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2024 1:39 pm Nothing to do with DF that, one slight thing, i'd have kept Gnonto on and subbed Jimmy instead.
This was down to the players, and the biggest fck ups they made all game, was their atrocious passing throughout, telegraphed passing and slow distribution of the ball.
He threw what he could at them, sometimes hold your hand up and say, we just weren't good enough.
I hope he carries on with the same till season end, but i'd definitely stick PB in that style.
Whose only answer is chuck as many talented players on as you can and abandon any sense of team structure.
He's was nearly fired 1st season at Norwich, 3rd season was fired 4th season and chucked by Gladbach after 1 season.
It's not a coincidence.

Re: Blackburn Rovers Post match discussion
I think Farke gets another year, strange season as we were playoff bound in January into Feb, most of us seemed settled with that.
But we have the best squad in the league imo, we’re the only team all others park the bus for almost every game. And at 0-0 your always in the game. I do wonder if other managers know that Farke destroys the balance with his subs and that’s when the trap is sprung. I can’t think of anyone playing badly today aside from Piroe (in a very key position) and obviously Paddy who seems to do nothing bar wind up the opposition, he’s not playing his own game last 6/7 games.

Re: Blackburn Rovers Post match discussion
Only we could beat the top 2 home and away and not go up. I suppose all you can do is laugh!
Re: Blackburn Rovers Post match discussion
Problem is if we don't go up Farke will have a lot less quality in his squad ,its this year or it'll be a while imo

I don’t doubt he gets another year even if we fail to go up but he won’t have anything like the squad we have now.The Subhuman wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2024 2:02 pm I think Farke gets another year, strange season as we were playoff bound in January into Feb, most of us seemed settled with that.

He should’ve held off on that triple change as we were doing ok at that point. It was a tripe change not triple anyway. Utter tripe.

Been poor since and including Millwall, Every team falling into the play one way regime without the talent to do it .Nevermind gents
Re: Blackburn Rovers Post match discussion
But why would you want players who completely bottled it? Leicester handed it to us on a plate 3 times and we bottled it every time. That opportunity is gone now.

The pressure is getting to the top three. And teams don’t lie down and die like we think they should.
They don’t like it up em…
Re: Blackburn Rovers Post match discussion
Next season we need a couple of wise old heads - maybe James Milner, a goalscoring midfielder, set piece specialist and one or two talented loans. I suspect Jimmy, Gnonto will be gone, but Geo will be hard without breaching ffp. Might force Archie Gray out.
