Only one result through 2 games says a lot, 17 draws so far

A mixture of the kookaburra ball and rain delays I reckon, although what excuse Yorkshire can have for drawing that last match I don't know.

Our bowlers struggle to bowl out the opposition when we are in a commanding position, similar to previous seasons.wilsdenwhite wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2024 8:31 pm A mixture of the kookaburra ball and rain delays I reckon, although what excuse Yorkshire can have for drawing that last match I don't know.
Our batting will diminish once Lyth loses his early season fine form, and Root & Brook head off to play for their main club, England.

ECCB are actively encouraging innings building. I think there's more points for a draw this year, though only caught the back end of that discussion on you tube so could be wrong.
Already looking like a draw in Hampshire, Warwicks 455 all out and Hants 260-4 as we go toward tea on the third day. Good to see Fletcher Middleton finally hit his first century, 22 year old prospect in his sophomore season

Yorkshire with Root & Brook in the team whacked in three days by Middlesex.
