We've elected one true Labour government in 50 yrs. Blair was a long way right of Labour with his Tory Lite New Labour.
Tories can win this, the people love the devil you know these days.. Tories also great at maximizing good financial news at the right time and the slow down in inflation/economy growth will have voters rethinking. Moronic politics like criminalizing homelessness, the Covid over reaction and sending refugees to Rwanda will be overlooked..
I don't think The Conservatives would be in oblivion for long... Sunak needs to go though
The Tories won't acquire anywhere near the number of votes from the northern constituencies this time, especially as they seem to have forgotten folk who live in the north.
Once bitten twice shy comes to mind.
They'll probably retain our area as we have a large, affluent, & daft farming community here.
Tories sold off everything over 40 years putting us at the mercy of global energy prices causing double digit inflation.
Then when energy prices drop sunak claims he's got inflation under control. F..king priceless they think we are morons.
Do one you stinking lying money grabbing arseholes.
I love all this electioneering - we’re going to do this, more of these, lower that etc. Excuse me, but why didn’t you all this while you were in power pal?

I hadn't seen you on here much of late Airedale, then I checked & you made a few posts on the match thread, which I missed as I was at the games.
I noticed this post though, & I fully agree with you
Also, Sunak wasn't elected, so he is a leader of his party by default.
His £2 million mansion in North Yorkshire says everything about him.
Hope the Leeds fans give him some stick on Sunday.

There are a few caravans with LU badges on them touring about
"Critics are men that watch a battle from a high place, then come down and shoot the survivors"
The Nubian and Libyan deserts
Kenroku-en, Koraku-en and Kairaku-en
The Danum Valley in Malaysia
Quays in a notorious area of Cardiff
En route to where flying fishes play
And Mumbai in former times.
Who might have taken a beating in these locations?
