Should he stay or should he go?
The dust hasn't even settled yet but Daniel Farke has been outthought three times by Russell Martin so far this season. Leeds crumbled on the run in and didn't turn up in the play-off final.
Is Farke the right man to lead us again next season?

Re: Should he stay or should he go?
He should deffo stay. Once again the front players let him down, like they have done in all the big games. Gnonto, Summerville and Rutter may as well have not been on the pitch. Hopefully he can shape the team how he wants to.
Feel gutted for Dan James, misses the penalty for Wales and then sees his shot hit the bar and another decent shot saved. Hopefully he stays and doesn't have a loan clause in his contract.

Re: Should he stay or should he go?
He will stay, but with the terrible run of games which will continue he will be out before xmas.
Re: Should he stay or should he go?
He was hardly out thought, we were the better team for the first 15-20, ampadu got carried away and that was that - fine margins. Farke stays we go up next year owners are bonkers if they take a knee jerk reaction and get rid now!
Re: Should he stay or should he go?
He should go but he won't.
He will waffle on about 90 points as if its some amazing total and then blame the first 2 months.
2 wins in 9 to end the season is sackable form at any level.
Championship experience for key criteria in a manager wad always nonsense

Can we have a third option, I was about to start a pollYorkshireSquare wrote: ↑Sun May 26, 2024 4:17 pm The dust hasn't even settled yet but Daniel Farke has been outthought three times by Russell Martin so far this season. Leeds crumbled on the run in and didn't turn up in the play-off final.
Is Farke the right man to lead us again next season?
Yes needs to go, too negative, too entrenched, too cowardly
Not bothered either way, I won't moan if he's sacked, I'll try to support him if he stays
No, great season considering the issues and 90 points. Needs to finish the job
Another interesting question would have been
Is Farke the man for the job?

Re: Should he stay or should he go?
I wouldn't be fussed if he left. The way we imploded towards the end is concerning.YorkshireSquare wrote: ↑Sun May 26, 2024 4:17 pm The dust hasn't even settled yet but Daniel Farke has been outthought three times by Russell Martin so far this season. Re: Should he stay or should he go?
Goes for who is one of the weakest arguments for keeping him Imo.
That isn't an endorsement in him it's a lack of faith in those above him.
Of course better managers would come here but its upto those above to find them.

Re: Should he stay or should he go?
Thanks, We'll do ok next season with him, likely the playoff lottery again. I just don't think he'll get us auto promoted.... The teams coming down aren't great so that helps. Burnley likely to lose their talisman manager, SU are a mess and Luton will be a wild cardYorkshireSquare wrote: ↑Sun May 26, 2024 4:45 pm I've changed to three options now, you might have to vote again

Re: Should he stay or should he go?
Genuine question though. People keep going on about this being one of the best Championship sides ever. Is it really that good in terms of individual quality and depth?
Re: Should he stay or should he go?
Does anyone think he's managed the squad well?
Spent the 1st half of the season giving players 10 minutes to change a game which didn't work.
Only when he finally gave people like Gnonto and Bamford a chance did they shine.
He's completely sidelined Cresswell and Gelhardt unless he's desperate then he throws them on expecting players who barely kicked a ball all year to perform miracles.
He's hardly used Joseph except in thos small cameos he forced others to play 1st half of the season.
E barely used expensive loans like Anthony and Roberts who he wanted.
He's been shown so many times to be unable to change a game when it's gone wrong and resorts to literally fifa throw every attacker on tactics.
He's flogged certain players to death.
He's been full of excuses for weeks, first it qas a difficult September which he extended to October when he realised that didn't wash.
He's blamed individual players in public.
He's tried to totally absolve himself of blMe for the end of season collapse.
He's tried to gaslight the fanbase by subtle lowering of expectations making us question whether it was ever reasonable to expect promotion (he didn't think it was possible in September for some reason).
He moves the goalposts to what suit his narrative, 1st we needed 2 ppg, then 90 points is an amazing total despite actually being a bang average total for 2nd.
Don't rate him don't like him and think he gets far more leeway than many other managers did for similar behaviour

Re: Should he stay or should he go?
Not really.
Last time we sacked Bielsa for Marsch.
Yes if there’s a McKenna out there maybe but if not I’d stick.

Re: Should he stay or should he go?
Literally thousands of managers out there.
Our inexperienced board lead by Kinnear fed crap by a 70 year old Allardyce decided you need Championship experience.
Kompany, Maresca, Mckenna, Silva, Wagner etc disagree.
If we widen our search then of course we can find better.

Farke has a long term deal, we gave Bielsa time.
Be careful what you wish for.
