I’d love him to stay, but I can’t see it.
He’s a lower level PL player for me.

Re: Joe Rodon poll
Love us to sign him but I don't think it will happen, any Prem team from mid down must be looking at him seriously

That is the problem, the likes of Brighton, Fulham, Palace & others may be monitoring big Joe.Barlow Boy wrote: ↑Mon May 27, 2024 12:02 pm I’d love him to stay, but I can’t see it.

I’d chuck in Everton and West Ham there too.
One who will definitely leave I feel

Yes, any of the bottom half of the PL clubs. I assume he is based around London being a Spurs player.Barlow Boy wrote: ↑Mon May 27, 2024 12:24 pm I’d chuck in Everton and West Ham there too.

Both Rodon & Ampadu took our defeat hard at the final whistle, as they laid flat out on the pitch for what seemed ages.

Love to be able to keep him, but I don't see much hope he'll stay given how well he played this year. Someone from the EPL will come calling.

Voted to stay, as he was immense this year. Don't think it will happen though sadly.
Re: Joe Rodon poll
Seems a great kid and gave his all for the cause. Would love to see him back here for next season but finance will dictate i guess. We have a few aces in the pack with having his Welsh team mates here. I think he likes it here... so if we could offer him a decent enough contract you never know. Like others tho the lure of the PL and the money that follows may just be a bridge too far.
If that's the case thanks Joe you did us proud.

Would love to sign him, alas he is destined for a return to PL, with someone else.

Re: Joe Rodon poll
He had very obvious passion for the club so I think he could be persuaded to stay. I’m fairly sure Farke will make that a priority.

Re: Joe Rodon poll
Whilst I feel he will have mid to lower teams in the prem after him I feel there is a chance he could come to us. We are likely to pay higher than regular championship and whilst we may not be able to offer prem wages we could include healthy bonuses such as a promotion bonus. He knows the club, knows he will be a regular, knows the fans like him so it might be enough to sway him.

Hope he stays and gets us up next season.
If he dosen't want to sign for us I hope we hear about asap and we can move forward without him (then you'll find him in TOTW thread.

Truly wish we could keep him. But more than half the premier league will want him now.
