Yeah that speed skating woman 🤔
Big build up and then falls over & cries. If I remember correctly it’s fairly important to stay upright whilst ice skating
A tad unfair Jay. She was chucked out of the race by dodgy officials....should never have happened. She was cheated out of one if not two Olympics

Surprised just how poor they were. Having said that Germany look a right handful, but we shall see if they can repeat it in the next game.

Tough gig and a lottery racing in those sprints, minimal contact and you are on your arse.

I was impressed with Italy after their early setback against Albania, technically excellent on the ball with some slick passing & great movement. I believe there is lot more to come from this Italian team.

Italian teams traditionally always seem to get stronger as a tournament progresses. They just seem to have the knack and know how of how play tournament football.

Indeed, they are masters of progressing in Euro/World Cup tournaments.

The Italians are at a maturing stage, with the majority of what appears to be a strong squad in the mid-twenties.

Don’t remember it tbh Swannie.
Just have a vague memory of someone who fell over a lot although it looks like she had a good career bar the Olympics

Been a great start to the tournament so far. Enjoyable games and teams trying to score, rather than park the bus.

All of the pundits have gone for an attacking England team, with only one putting Trent alongside Rice in a 4-2-3-1.

A lot like me are thinking 4-3-3, or if 4-2-3-1, sticking Bellingham alongside Rice to join up with Saka - Foden - Gordon

I personally wanna see Palmer starting myself.

Let's see what fartbreath goes with eh, i bet it's Trent.

Moi :
Pickford
Walker - Stones - Guehi - Trippier
Foden - Rice - Bellingham
Saka - Kane - Palmer

Expecting some change in philosophy and strategy from Gareth Southgate ? A variation on his "tournament football" style of play?

I would like to be pleasantly surprised but I am more likely to see pigs fly :)

I'm hoping that's the line up. But thinking Southgate will be a bit mote cautions and swap Palmer for a defensive midfielder.
