Re: Georginio Rutter - Release Clause Activated

Wonder if the delay is because we are trying to get some sort of cheap loan of a Brighton player to try and appease the growing anger?

Which is what I said on Thursday ... or at least we should be looking at getting something back. We tend to mostly use loans here as squad fillers. Only Rodon and Jack Harrison have made impacts as loan players recently. Ben white of course in 2019/20

16/17 was a good year with Pablo, Bartley and Pontus all loaned in .

One good year for multiple loans in 15 years..

Whoever it is I hope we have a buy option.

Straight loans are a pet hate of mine.

If I was to guess.

Is there any grounds in the rumour that the release fee might have expired? Sounded like the deal was pushed late Wednesday night because that's when the clause expired.

Don't think it would make a difference.

West Ham technically didn't meet Summerville clause but we bent over for them so.

Rutter to Brighton, now confirmed by the club.

No need for Rutter taking the piss on the Brighton tweet announcing his signing.

Meh.

I bet we have said how utterly devastated we are and did everything we could and those damn clauses in our press release.

Love Georgie, made FarkeBall watchable

Just no need for it, fair enough, take a Premier League move, but don’t take the piss like that.

Exactly that. The statement from the club was telling. 'Persistent and adamant he wanted to leave'

Not sure I take it as a p**s take. I take it as more of a private msg to us as in you're in my thoughts, and the wink, because the Brighton fans won't have a clue what that means....
