Not yet but he's in the building. Midnight tonight is the cut off time for him to be on the bench tomorrow at least. Would hope he's announced before then

Would imagine he will be on the bench tomorrow versus the southern softies.

Absolutely briiliant to get one done and looks like a top signing as well.
However I'd take getting 2 further similar level signings over 4 mediocre squad fillers any day of the week. At the end if the day only 18 outfield players are needed for a matchday and let's be honest 2 or 3 of those will only rarely, if ever, get a run out.

Think and hope Willy stays, might become mates with Largie, ...lol, Largie Willy. Mind of a child Joe, I have the mind of a child
But quite happy for Wober to go as his heads not here.
LB, Striker, CMF, AMF, and RCB to cover for Rodon and replace CC, needed at the moment.

Short squad cost us last season .. among other things, and we we're lucky with just the one major injury. As it stands we really just have James on the bench as a game changer.Jammy 07 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2024 7:57 pm Absolutely briiliant to get one done and looks like a top signing as well.

Need 24/25 including the third keeper

As you say we need game changers and not anymore Rothwell's. Unfortunately those type of players cost £10M+ so we won't be getting another 4 of them. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2024 8:01 pm Short squad cost us last season .. among other things, and we we're lucky with just the one major injury. Re: Largie Ramazani- Welcome
I'm a glass half full kind of person and while I have my reservations this is a really intriguing transfer.
These are the stats for his time at Almeria including in the second division of Spain... The right most number shows how he ranks against other footballers in the same position/league/over his career i.e. closer to 100 one of the best for that stat.
Passing he ranks in the lowest 1% which I thought would be explained by risky passes to cut defences apart but his progressive passing is really quite poor. He ranks in the lowest 1% for attempted passes of any kind also.
He also ranks in the lowest 17% of shot creating actions in comparable players I.e. cutting throughball passes.
Assists wise he seems exceptional especially considering this factors in his time in La liga...... Fairly good at winning the ball high up the pitch with a number of interceptions.
Non-Penalty Goals 0.19 46
npxG: Non-Penalty xG 0.27 74
Shots Total 2.04 41
Assists 0.32 86
xAG: Exp. Assisted Goals 0.33 92
npxG + xAG 0.61 91
Shot-Creating Actions 2.87 17
Passes Attempted 19.55 1
Pass Completion % 58.3% 1
Progressive Passes 2.36 13
Progressive Carries 3.38 46
Successful Take-Ons 1.85 64
Touches (Att Pen) 3.44 37
Progressive Passes Rec 6.18 25
Tackles 0.70 4
Interceptions 1.85 99
Blocks 0.89 41
Clearances 0.64 66
Aerials Won 0.32 33
This is a really interesting transfer as there aren't many players who directly compare to him in stats..... Elanga is apparently closest stats wise. A winger who doesn't pass or glide past people much but consistently produces assists.......
Will this end product translate to the championship? Maybe, maybe not..... Firpo was signed from Barca for 17 million
..... But if Ramazani does similar work in the championship he's going to be a favourite. Exceeds west broms Jed Wallace easily who I really rate at this level stats wise in almost every department. Also a good age to turn a profit on.

More to see from this guy and maybe he has a point to prove! Not an overwhelming signing but he could come good here. I welcome him

Interesting stuff so thanks for that and it's made me think we'll need Bamford, Piroe and Joseph to step up and score the goals because at the moment we miss far too many good chances.ElKapitan wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2024 8:29 pm I'm a glass half full kind of person and while I have my reservations this is a really intriguing transfer.

Just a more expensive version of Hadi Sacko judging by those stats.

I saw some stats on him the other day - his ball carrying was in the top 2 of La Liga last season, in terms of progressive meters.ElKapitan wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2024 8:29 pm I'm a glass half full kind of person and while I have my reservations this is a really intriguing transfer.
