Which is inexcusable. A keeper should never take his eye off it.

Meslier shines in front of his old gaffer

I know all keepers have gaffes in then but that was a biggie.

What a way to end a football match. That was the only way they were going to score thru a freak goal. Sickening for the team they worked their bollox off throughout.

He was following the natural course of the ball took his eye off the ball and it skidded off the turf. Psst him. Awful mistake but s**t happens. Complete shocked by that - typical Leedsy snatching a draw from the girl of victory. Ironically until the calamity he had a good game.

Erm yeah..

Will post more later.
I think it would have been a fortunate win. Would have taken 3 points. But draw was a fair result overall.

Like the commentator said he was already thinking about the next thing. Just took his eye off it.
Outfield players do similar things.
For me the best team didn’t win and it was their players being interviewed and not ours.

Firpo was so good in so many ways for his goal - stayed on his feet when many would have gone down and great composure with the finish.

Couldn't agree more, it happened it's done , some wouldn't be happy until he cried , his response showed me he has a strong character

Not sure about that, he had been collecting and kneeling down mode and I'd assume there was no next.
