Same.

My coping mechanism is run and coke and Deep Purple on BBC2

That moment caps his career at Leeds for me.

We’ve been saying he’s a weak link for a long time. Needs to be binned off in January. How can DF and the rest of the team trust him after this?
Rather harsh. It was a howler, it is whether he allows it define him, or from here on in makes amends. Consigning anything to the bin so quickly is often a mistake.
Just the other day I was going to throw some old favourite shoes out and the Mrs convinced me to get them re heeled- back in the favourites book again.

So do I ... and that's only 2 points from 3 games v top 8 teams. Lets not forget though Aaronson missed one late again. Could have put it to bed there

No point in speculating or pontificating, he’ll have to live with it and so will we.

The next two weeks would have been a lot sweeter if it hadn’t happened though.

Buy on replay it looks like he just moved too far left and then took his eye off the ball. Terrible positioning and lack of concentration. And a mistake that cost us two points and top of the table prior to the international break. That's inexcusable. And he should sit out the next game to think about it. His teammates couldn't believe it.
Can’t agree more, Paul. Perhaps, remove his vice-Captaincy, as well? Ball barely spun following the slight ricochet off Firpo. That’s taking your eye off of it, pure and simple. His laughing about it made me sick. Shameful.

Thought Tanaka and Rothwell did well as individuals (hence being in my top 6).

But as a pair they still imo look a bit easy to get behind

I have learnt over the years as a Leeds fan to come to expect disapointments, but i have to admit i am completely stunned at what i saw tonight.

I can agree with the shoes analogy, DDB…on shoes. Mes constantly fills me with angst every time the ball goes to him. Always feel there is a calamity around the corner. I think the part that really upsets me is how he was able to SMILE and laugh at it. That doesn’t sit right with me. He should be apologizing to EVERYONE for that.

Sunderland manager probably said something along the lines of "good you remembered your former mentor" and it was a reflex smile

How do you know he isn’t. Not everyone reacts the same way.

Sell Meslier. Replace him with Darlow. Take his vice captaincy. Kill him. Drown him.
Bit over the top tbh. Shocking mistake but plenty of outfield players do the equivalent.
He’s not going anywhere so the players & fans need to get behind him.
Preferably for the whole game 🤣
He needs a wicket keeper.

Let JD get his posse together - run him out of town and string him up boys.

Casilla took a lot of abuse for "that" goal and it wasn't even his fault really... So Mes has to take his

I see the yanks want him shot, easy access to guns I suppose 😁

Didn’t see him laughing about it I’ll admit, that would annoy me too.

There was a similar reaction to wee Willy when he caused a ruckus last season. Can’t wait for Victor’s input. He strikes me as the forgiving type.
