I've just checked out several disappointing Tripadvisor reviews.

It would seem the Tan Hill has a few issues with accommodation, cleanse ness & the food.

On second thoughts, I think we'll give Tan Hill a miss.

Spent a beautiful fall day at Scratch Brewing in Ava, Illinois. Scratch is a microbrewery located on about 140 acres of beautiful woods and meadows. The specialize in what they call foraged beer, using all sorts of things they find on their land to brew beer. Everything from chanterelle mushrooms, to herbs, and even tree bark. Sounds crazy, but the beers are remarkable. They also have their own sourdough culture and their sour beers are quite possibly the best on earth. Truly. They've built an international reputation for themselves.

They have a large wood-fired oven, too, and bake their own sourdough bread and make pizza.

I'm enjoying some amateur radio toady. I've bought a few new radio walkie talkies which are VHF/UHF/FM/AM/SW/CW Handsets.
You can listen to Airband and CB radios for those who remember it?? You can also pick up local Businesses or just chat to your pals. All you need is the Walkie talkies and an anntenna for the setup.
