I was sickened that year. We were the best team of the tournament by a long way. Pakistan should have lost a group game and would have been eliminated but were saved by the rain. We were clear favourites for that one. And, just like 87, another big disappointment.

Rothwell looked good getting forward last match and So has seemed neat, composed, and keeps the ball close--but I'd still rather see Amps.
