Celtic have signed Denmark captain Kasper Schmeichel on a one-year deal after the goalkeeper led his country to the last 16 of Euro 2024.

Interestingly, well for those who love sell on clauses, we had a 10% sell on clause when we sold KS to Leicester. At one point he was being bandied about as a £50m keeper and as such if he was sold for that we would have netted £5m. However he never got sold and eventually left Leicester, on a free, after his contract ran out. So the sell on clause we inserted netted us £0.

Agree, other than Rangers, there will be no serious challengers, they could go on to another 5-6 years of winning the league in a row, hope they don't do the 10.

Both the Glaswegian teams come a cropper in Europe.

I'll never forget that Celtic team that outplayed us at ER in 1970.

Massive step up from SPL to european football.
The 69 / 70 games were crackers, Billys goal was brilliant, 2 superb teams.

Not even Rangers this year. I stay in a strong Rangers area and there is no optimism around at all. The problem with the stadium has put a real dampener on things. That and Kemar Roofe being let go. 🙄

Yea, my Rangers mates are not at all optimistic, as has been said, 1 horse race.
Think they mayybe looking at playing games at other venues till Ibrox is completed, I can foresee that issue if we ever get around to developing ER.

The Scottish Premier league season is probably over even already :) If Celtic continue playing and getting reults like they have in pre season then its going to take a hell of an effort from Rangers to stop them.

The Poops are winning 1-0 but Rangers giving a decent account of themselves, just need to put their chances away.
Will Rodgers ever think of taking a difficult job ever again !!

A great comeback from Aberdeen after Celtic's Japs had run them ragged in an action packed match.
