We have been living rent free in Wilders head since the Summer particularly with the Bogle/Hamer situations and there seems to be an element of catching up with the Joneses in their January spending . It might work for them but equally it may not .By the end of February the picture will be a bit clearer and either those of us who are perennial optimists or those who are congenital pessimists will feel justified in their opinions. Just hope tomorrow night starts Frank crying again.

9 Wins ? is that taking into account the other tems done lose any games ?
It gets us to the fabled 90 points. Of course there are still 48 points up for grabs.

It's feasible we can achieve the 90 points mark winning less than nine games.

What we have right now is a strong balanced squad, very good depth, not struggling to score and defensively solid, give or take the odd mishap / calamity.

Elland Rd is a fortress and we will in all likelihood amass between 50-60 points from our home games alone.

We are not going to win every game from now until the end of the season, so any result - in isolation - that does not give us three points is not going to generate any concern from my perspective.

I have no doubt the club tried to get players in whom they wanted, but if said player is not available or unwilling to come our hands are tied.

Despite all the fans who took to social media I suspect there are just as many fans who share my perspective.
I totally agree and share your (and many others) view that we didn't need to sign anyone through separation. We've a decent squad, previous post from another member said the intensity this season is lower since we're not playing catch up constantly (true), subs and some rotation have been deployed to a degree.

We're on 2.1 points per game; if we maintain that pace we'll finish top two.

Sixteen games remaining times 2.1 equals 33-34 points.

I'm with Leon. Ten wins and we're home and yes, that's doable.

Glad you agree, John.

We've lost three matches by the slightest margins this season.

I still believe we could go afford to lose 3 or 4 of our sixteen remaining fixtures & still achieve promotion.

We still have the best squad in the division, we have a bench that would walk into most teams starting 11. If we don’t finish top with what we have then Farke has failed.

Southampton are awful, I don’t know how they beat Ipswich last weekend, they are terrible. Archer can’t get on the bench yet alone starting 11. His coach said he’s working hard to take on board a new style of play

His previous coach also dropped him, he can’t get into the squad yet his asking price is £15m he is no better than Piroe

We need to get promoted and buy PL ready players, our rivals have signed mainly tosh

Hi Richard, how are you?

Yes, hopefully the huge expenditure is to come in the summer!

This is the big reason why I'm not at all bothered by the fact that we didn't bring anyone in during this window.

The squad we have are good enough to earn us promotion right now. When we do go up - and I fully expect we will - we will need as much cash as we can put together to invest in players capable of keeping us up. Splashing cash at the inflated prices you have to pay in the January window didn't make any sense. I applaud management for not giving in to the public pressure to do so.

I’m good thank you and yourself. Just thought I’d stop by, have a read of a few alternative opinions and see if the majority are dissatisfied with the window or not.

It wasn’t long ago we were happy to get through one and be relieved we’d not sold our best player

Whilst not wishing to invoke the kiss of death that normally follows my predictions, I believe we will be nearer to 100 points rather than 90 come the end of the season.

While the thought of getting extra cover for key positions gives every fan that extra bit of confidence, I can see why the transfer window has been a quiet affair. Leeds United have by far the strongest squad in the Championship. Our bench is packed with quality players that would grace any team in the Championship. So the only reason I can see is that we have a number of games left and the powers that be decided that no other players are needed to actually improve the squad at the right money. I would have liked to replace the French Drinking Straw and added at least another tooth to our attack when the opposition decides to park the bus. I hope we stay injury free and kick on to gain our rightful place in the Premier League. When we do, the jump in quality is vast and some of our current players will not make the grade. No use in worrying about the lack of activity in the window.... its gone and can't be changed..... move on...

Apologies if this has been covered already but to get in the Play-offs, over the course of the season, you need to win half of your games and draw half of the rest (rough guide). If we do that we'll finish on 91pts. So we only need to produce Play-off standard form over the next 16 games to get over the 90pt threshold. Hopefully we'll do better than that. And relax.🥵

Good times ahead & more enjoyable games to come if we achieve near the 100 points mark. :victor: :clape:

Less than 100 Farke has failed with the players he has at his disposal;)
