malcolmw wrote: ↑Tue Mar 04, 2025 2:33 am So - only question here is - do you support Trump and Putin over the West? I assume from this ridiculous diatribe you posted you do.

You're either for or against Ukraine - no gray areas, no rationalizations. This is a war situation. - which side are you on - the USA and Russia or UKraine, Europe, Australia, Canada? Those are now the two sides.

I don't care - I just want to ensure we can identify you more specifically as Trump's propaganda secretary on this thread.

That's not ridiculous diatribe that is research by someone far more astute on the situation than all of us, you might want to research deeper than what you are media fed. I'm questioning the bigger picture here and it's an open debate.

But I will answer your question.
I'm against the ones that are going to get more people killed by dragging it on longer than needs to, it's been going on for years and at the moment the ones doing that is not Trump.
Maybe they can get it done quicker but I doubt it where Putin is concerned.
Maybe they'd get a stronger better deal with Trump on board and as the US funds the most to NATO it would be a disaster if Trump withdraws from it, your house of 'cards' collapses.

I have already publicly stated my views on Trump, I have said I only support Trump in situations that benefit the UK and if he can end the war quicker and saves lives than I'll support him on that.

I'll question you...
Depending on your age, would you and others on here willing to be the boots on the ground should this kick off, firstly we have no army reserves so he will be forced into conscription, your kids, grandkids, family, friends?
Is he going to be calling up all those he jailed and called far right that's anyone against his regime, good luck with that!!!
If there was an election tomorrow, he would lose it.

You have a PM that cares more about Europe than he does about his own people, more money to protect other borders but can't protect his own and we are in deep s**t if this starts to turn on us.

I support the people of Ukraine but not Zelensky as their leader he will get more people killed but it's NOT our war, neither was the gulf, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and now look at the state of those places, caused by western interference and the UK is usually the first to poke their noses in.
We don't want a ceasefire we want an end to the war and the quickest route possible, so whoever can do that I will support but your way is longer and more lives will be lost - happy with that?

Put the Trump card away because you and others would still hate him even if he did end the war - wouldn't you? Gottcha!!!

Don't forget about the elephant in the room that sides with Putin!!! Watch what happens if western aggression tries to bully him.

And I certainly don't support people that autograph weapons that kill innocent people, no matter who they are.

Nordic countries aid to Ukraine. Are they the biggest supporters or the biggest fools.

Baltic countries spend the highest percentage of gdp on aid , considering they are possibly next in line understandably. Ex kgb /fsb operative Putin's stance has always been to reaffirm the ussr and bring countries back under its control.

You only need to see his stance when the Kursk went down, not accepting help provided to understand the man he is .

Sean_Nile wrote: ↑Tue Mar 04, 2025 8:42 am We get two types of character assassinations on here. They are emotive ad hominem attacks, to make us feel disgust, and if we consider ourselves morally upright, then surely we must condemn these reprehensible leaders.

Zelensky is a corrupt coke head, running around the world with a begging bowl collecting money to siphon off into his personal Swiss bank account... a failed comedian, a dictator who won't hold elections.

Trump is a big orange baby a sociopathic orange ba***rd, a felon, and he is in Putin's pocket because of golden showers in a Moscow hotel.

These are a short summary of the character assassination I have heard on here. These attacks are senseless because they shift the focus from substantive issues to personal attacks, undermining meaningful discussion.

When leaders are reduced to exaggerated caricatures, it prevents a fair assessment of their policies, decisions, and impact. Instead of addressing governance, economics, or foreign policy, (what a moral quandary does the pausing of military aid engender), debates become emotional battlegrounds driven by bias rather than facts. This not only misleads everyone but also obstructs critical thinking by promoting simplistic, one-dimensional narratives.

Additionally, such attacks often rely on misinformation or exaggeration, weakening the credibility of the argument itself. If one dismisses a leader as entirely corrupt or evil, it invites counterattacks in the same vein, leading to a cycle of mudslinging rather than rational discourse.

This approach polarizes discussions, making constructive dialogue nearly impossible, as opponents become defensive instead of engaging with opposing viewpoints. Arguments grounded in reason and evidence are more persuasive than those fueled by personal vilification.

Furthermore, demonizing political figures dehumanizes them and their supporters, Trump supporters become knuckle draggers, Zelensky supporters neo-Nazis from the Azov battalion, fostering division and hostility.

When leaders are painted as irredeemable villains, their policies are rejected outright without proper scrutiny, even when some may have merit. A balanced debate requires acknowledging both strengths and weaknesses rather than resorting to name-calling. Productive discussions should challenge ideas and policies, not attack individuals in a way that stifles debate and we all become willy waggers drowning in our own glorified rhetoric.
Spot on.

Some people on here have a melt down if they can't bully you into their views, they only like free speech until it offends them or out truths them or shows them a different narrative than what the sanitised media feeds them, which is usually left wing spin and anyone that doesn't adhere is a far right racist bigot, their go to card when they can't ascertain how the media works and who funds it, they see it as real truth, they even call experts liars or have tantrums like they did when Trump was re elected via a democratic process.

Peace is peace I couldn't give a toss who brings it, even if Trump does you can bet they'll be some on here still won't be happy, the ones that fully support Ukraine sat in their glass houses pontificating 'I stand with Ukraine' - No they don't or they'd be there fighting with them or the very least taking in refugees, acting like those on those weekly marches of aggression isn't going to do anything, it's virtue signalling B.S, they are doing nothing at all to support Ukraine what-so-ever!

Let's see what happens if "boots on the ground and planes in the air' in defence of Ukraine" (Starmer), this lot would'n't be so quick to stand with them them. Empty vessels ring the loudest.

It's the age of the flag waver unless it happens to be a red cross on a white background or a union flag that brought them peace and security all of their lives but now it's racist , let's see what they fly on the tanks when they go in to Ukraine, probably include a rainbow and renamed The Friends of Dorothy Corps.

I like to think that that opinions on here are open for debate not collate a cliquey witch hunt.
I still get replies from people on my ignore list   That's what you're dealing with.

They said Zelensky wasn't disrespectful, he said F*** You and called Vance a Bitch in Ukrainian under his breath he has already had billions in aid from the USA and across Europe yet here he is wanting more, hardly a surprise he was thrown out.

He lost the room because he is an inexperienced comedian, who's net worth as rocketed and his WEF pocket pony who thinks he is a statesman by throwing billions at him and offers state visits to Trump to flatter him while he punishes pensioners and ex military and the cost of living is putting more people on the streets, no support for those then?

I wish them luck with those boots on the ground, he'll have to call up all those new patriots that are sat in hotels at the tax payers expense, let's see if all those fighting age men will defend the UK.
27,000 so far under his watch he's deported 3% of the backlog.

No wonder this country is broken and in radical decline.

It is going to take tenacious negotiation for Putin to walk away from the Crimea and you ain't getting a peace deal without the USA, it's ridiculous for anyone to think otherwise, but let them carry on with their grandstanding.

No one even mentioned a peace deal before Trump got in, the Ukraine wanted to fight it out that's what all the money was for.

Some one will reply and whinge to this post no doubt.

Oh my word, what an absolute outrage, just look at that racist, bigoted flag of the far right, it's right there behind Keir Coco incase the very look of it gives anyone a dizzy bilious attack, apparently these flags offend people (usually middle aged white people) and cause them to have a meltdown towards me, on this forum.

Ah yes, remember the good old days before clown world banned humour and didn't trigger grown up men.

Or is it only OK for PM Coco and King Jug Lugs to use it, either way then it is not a flag of hate is it? :roflmao:

I'd suggest Trumps only motivation is securing mineral rights and securing wealth from it. It's been said previously he's a business man , arguably not a good one. He must be the only casino owner to bankrupt himself 🤣🤣🤣

I think it's possible to factcheck that🤔

That's what arbitrators do.

He wants some payback for all the billions the US have given Ukraine over this war, there wasn't much appetite of one before Trump, lots of cash has gone missing and he won't get anymore US aid unless he agrees an end to this, the offer is still there but he ran off to cuddle Starmer and tin pot Napoleon.

What did Starmer offer Trump to make him to agree to give up the US Base in the Chagos Islands + billions of our money on top, you don't think he's allowing that for free do you?

If Trump brought peace and stops more death that has to be commended, because it's not going to happen with him not being involved, like I said if he cuts aid then the rest of NATO will have to find it, that means more damage to our GDP.

And it might enlighten minds that Trump supporters are not Putin supporters and Putin will want something out of this.

Do you think all Ukrainians support Zelensky? I assure you many see him as a cad that doesn't want a ceasefire, he wants more billions for military use and Trump will not keep paying for it, that was clearly evident in the live meeting.

I have a fair few Ukrainian clients, Zelensky is not as popular as you think he is to them, they are losing their families and friends they want an end to this..

There is common ground on here and that is an end to this war - right?

Let's try a little thought experiment.

Assume for a minute that Mexico, a country ruled by a ruthless dictator, is quite powerful militarily and the United States is relatively weak. Let's further assume Canada is quite strong militarily.

Now imagine, because once upon a time Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California were part of a larger Mexican empire, Mexico decides to invade the Southern US. This invasion is totally unprovoked and Mexico succeeds in occupying all of the aforementioned states. Canada, in response, starts sending arms and other support to the US to try and repel the invasion and the US succeeds in fighting Mexico to a stalemate but Mexico remains in possession of large chunks of US territory.

Now imagine there's a change in the leadership of the Canadian government. The new Canadian PM is much more sympathetic to Mexico than he is to the US. He tells the US government it must do the following:

1) Cede a large portion of the nation's mineral wealth to Canada to pay for Canada's previous military support
2) Cede a large portion of US territory to Mexico in exchange for a ceasefire, with no commitment to guarantee the US's future security in exchange for the territory it's being force to concede.
3) Tells the US government it must get rid of its freely elected president and replace him with a new one willing to cede to Mexico all the territory it has conquered and that future Canadian aid was dependent on their doing so.

At the same time, the new Canadian PM is requiring absolutely nothing from Mexico in the way of concessions or guarantees of future US security. In fact, his plan of action rewards Mexico for its unprovoked invasion.

What would the reaction of the US government be?

Now substitute Hampshire, West Sussex, East Sussex, Surrey, and Kent for Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California. Substitute England for the US, France for Mexico, and Germany for Canada.

What would be the response of the UK?

If France were Mexico then William the Conqueror would invade Hastings in East Sussex, and he would become king of England.

February 2014: Parliament votes to remove Yanukovich (That's Parliament BF, PARLIAMENT!) - after bloodshed in the protests.
The mistake you make is copying and pasting without thinking, without questioning. When will you ever learn to read, digest and think independently of what others want you to think? It's called independence, something that NATO stifles during military occupation.

Suspending trade talks with the EU opting to revive economic ties with moscow is most likely a friendly gesture towards Russian speaking Ukrainians in the east, whilst attempting to develop friendly economic ties with Russia a brics block member. Who do you think was against this peaceful initiative, both internally and externally? Azov ultra nationalists wanting to reclaim land from Russian influence? Externally, NATO opposed friendly relations with Russia along with the Globalists. Did parliament align themselves with the globalists to avoid the wrath of the Azov banderists?

Globalists removed Yanukovich from office, using several hundred rioters. During the disturbances a western journalist followed and filmed a soldier that he was sure had an american accent. The soldier didn't want to be filmed and would not say anything except his objection to being filmed. Other witnesses to the violence also reported shooters from both the front and back killing and maiming protesters with each side then blaming the other.

There is no endless, thoughtless copy and paste in the above Trigger. Try thinking about the souls of others before making your mind up, as Globalists generally don't care to think beyond their own noses.
If you don't know where you are going, every road will get you nowhere.

Thought provoking post John.

I'm afraid though that many who are posting their support for Trump and Putin (disguised as researched data of course) are sitting in the UK or Europe with an intense hatred for the British PM and Labour government colouring their perspective. So they don't really have the context of those like you and I living in North America right now.

I was accused of supporting Ukraine just because I hate Trump. Well yes, I do hate Trump, but not just because of Ukraine. I hate him as people hated Hitler in the 1930's because he is a similar threat to world peace right now.

Today, he imposed his beloved tariffs on my country - Canada - without reason or logic of any kind. (Fentanyl has nothing to do with it)

Canada has retaliated with tariffs on $155billion worth of goods, and Ontario alone is threatening to cut off electricity supply to the New York grid and stop all exports of nickel to the US - vital in manufacturing many products.
The LCBO - Liquor Control Board of Ontario - one of the world's single largest liquor customers is already pulling all US booze off the shelves. They purchase over $1billion of product per year from US suppliers. Other provinces are doing the same.

Canadians are selling property in Florida and visits to Florida and other sunshine states are already down 40%. US Chambers of Commerce are already saying this could precipitate a collapse in the housing market in Florida.

Canada is already pivoting to partner with ASEAN countries on mining, technology and resources projects.

To what end - why? Simply because of a deranged megalomaniac who is pursuing ideology over anything else.

Yet people on here will defend him - even wish they had a Trump in the UK. Be very careful what you wish for.

I feel so sorry for so many Americans who didn't vote for this.
The popular vote in November was something like 75 million for Trump and 72 million for Harris. I wonder what it would be now?

Don't go to Poland - come over here and see what regular people in the USA are already having to deal with because of Trump.
Tonight he will stand up in Congress and give a 1936 Hitler type speech to his adoring MAGA colleagues and severely weak opposition.

You think Trump and Vance will "end the killing". Sure - by giving Ukraine to Putin - then the real killing will start

And Chrystia Freeland who apparently aspires be be the next Canadian PM would like Canada to have nuclear capabilities, and to this end would like to forge links with UK and France.

Former Canadian Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland has called for Canada to seek nuclear protection from European allies such as France and the UK, warning that the U.S. under Donald Trump poses a security threat.

I wonder if she was part of the WEF, young global leaders who attended Davos just like Justin?

Well what do you know.

Chrystia Freeland was named a Young Global Leader (YGL) by the World Economic Forum (WEF) in 2005. At the time, she was a journalist and managing editor at the Financial Times. The YGL program recognizes influential individuals under 40 who are seen as shaping the future of global affairs in various fields, including politics, business, media, and academia.

Freeland later transitioned into politics, becoming a Member of Parliament in Canada in 2013 and holding key ministerial roles, including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
