I think he's a better footballer than Aaronson, but we're paying for Aaronson

But we were 2 up when the las two subs came on....Joseph and Raz??? Why bother? The Subhuman wrote: ↑Wed Mar 12, 2025 9:42 pm It's a time wasting tactic. The players are unlikely to get anything from 5 minutes playing time

Looks a far better player than Joseph at this point..... Never given a chance at Leeds.... Must of been something that went on.The Subhuman wrote: ↑Wed Mar 12, 2025 9:40 pm I know only maybe two of us will care but Joffy with another Hull goal
Listening to Allardyce the other day..... Some players look great on the training pitch or u21's.... Neither definitively translates to senior football jist.
Joseph needs a loan.... Not at championship level at present and we can't give him the run he needs to improve.

He just needed a run of games but he never got it with us.andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Wed Mar 12, 2025 9:42 pm Joffy had more experience (and league goals) than Joseph at the start of the season. Not sure why he's never been given a chance in our championship side.
Pleased he's doing well at Hull.

Which says a lot.andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Wed Mar 12, 2025 9:45 pm You're normally the positive one
I thought we played well. Bossed at least 80 minutes of the game. Not enough clear cut chances. But we were always in control.

He's got 3 goals for the 19th place team in the Championship. Playing in the attacking midfield spot. Today he scored against the 18th placed team. I really don't think we are missing anything. If Hull go down he'll probably have a decent year in League 1.andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Wed Mar 12, 2025 9:42 pm Joffy had more experience (and league goals) than Joseph at the start of the season. Farke spent more time explaining tactics to him before he came on than he spent on the pitch. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Wed Mar 12, 2025 9:49 pm Ramazani tonight

Job done
Performance wasn't great, very subdued crowd and performance.
Needed the win.
Tanaka and Rothwell really good.
Aaronson and Piroe linked much better.
Solomon lively
Right hand side poor again, James and Bogle.

Joffy showed he has the fight and heart in the season when we avoided relegation. he was a key part of our survival.ElKapitan wrote: ↑Wed Mar 12, 2025 9:45 pm Looks a far better player than Joseph at this point..... Never given a chance at Leeds.... Must of been something that went on.

James is so shot right now that Meslier would probably be more effective on that wing - at least Mes has long legs....

Re: Leeds Utd v Millwall Match Thread
I thought we played well as a whole. Controlled pretty much the whole match.
Score line wasn't convincing and we didn't create enough clear cut chances. But we were never really under any threat.
