We've largely been good tbf.

But was always worried about the run in.

And the dip in performances even when winning was a concern.

Of course I blame Farke lol. His refusal to use the squad and drop non performing players has cost us so many points and with it, promotion. Just like last year.

We go one nil up, we should be going in for the kill, but we sat back and let them back into it. Just like v West Brom. This has to be his instructions.

I said we had a tough run in, as we always struggle v the bottom half teams and the players can't cope with the pressure. I said before but the Preston game is just Blackburn all over again, early kick off in April v a side in Lancashire with nothing to play for, after a long unbeaten home run....

As much as I want to blame Farke, and I do, it's the same players who bottled it last season doing so again. Rodon, Ampadu, Mes, Piroe, James. If you can't see out a game when you're leading at home, you don't deserve promotion. Gnonto tried hard to save Farkes butt, and his reward will be the bench while James starts again. Farke's stubbornness cost us last season and has again this year. He has to go, no more excuses.

Not sure if it's them bottling it though, or whether those players deep down do not want to be in the PL as they might be exposed as not being PL standard players. They underperformed badly in the run in last season, and now it's deja Vu.

And James should not have been starting for 4 or 5 games now.

The writing was on the wall in the pre-match presser when he was getting the excuses in early, international break, injuries, difficult summer, etc.

An absolutely shambolic display, and every inch of it is down to Farke who got so much wrong it's quite unbelievable.
Gnonto on in the 86th minute when everything is shite is a complete mystery.
I could go on and on and on, but it fixes nothing and Farke needs to get his finger from up his arse, because this should be a piece of piss Championship trophy.

If our U8’s gave away a goal like that in the 96th minute from our own throw-in I’d give them a bollocking. Bogle throws it infield instead of down the line, Joseph hasn’t a Scooby where his feet are, Tanaka tackles like a. 4 year old & Mes dives over the ball. Bloody farcical.

Problem is he hasn't got a plan B.......

Its why he has performed so poorly in better leagues. He relies on having better players than the opposition.... He did it with Norwich..... Has relied on it with Leeds.

Play it down the wings...... To James primarily and hope something happens in transition.

When teams adapt, bully James and others physically there's no answer..... Ramazani and maybe Gnonto are literally the only players n the squad who has that fight and nastiness. That anger that O'Brien and others had today to hurt players and put them out of their stride.

Aarronsson, Piroe, Byram today..... So easy to out muscle.... Piroe especially Jesus such a big guy but zero fight for the ball. Even Ampadu..... Is there a quieter captain in the league? We are a very small but skillful team and when teams play dirty physical football we struggle.

Same team next week..... Darlow is a leader, is vocal but don't believe now is the ideal time to bring him in under pressure but worth a shout. Looked good for Wales and hasn't historically been error prone.
