Been thinking it since the start of the season to be honest Jay, I honestly don't think we've got the nerve to keep top two. Too much pressure at this football club and the players can't hack it. No such pressure at blunts or Burnley.

What bothers me the most was that it seemed none of the subs must have been paying attention to the game.

Couldn't they see what Swansea where trying to do?

Joseph, Tanaka, Rama all allowed themselves to be dispossesed while dawdling on the ball in injury time, think about that for a minute, in injurty time they were asleep on the job, as was Piroe and Rodon by that point.

And that free corner from Tanaka to set up Mesliers fumble was absolutely shocking.

Swanseas pressing was top notch and that allied with them freely fouling on the turnovers was a perfect recipe for a smash n grab today.

Dont players understand that to beat the press you need to work as a team? Instead we passed it into empty space or gave each other hospital balls.

And ironically a game like that was perfect for clueless yank to do all his happy running that seems to please so many, but he remains a poor return and a joke at what the club paid for him.


The one positive is that I cant see any PL clubs come shopping for any of them at the end of the season, so they can be here next season when we go once again in the Championship.

It's been coming, We've not played well/ controlled a game since Watford. I'm willing to let this one pass as I'll "buy into" the issues of players returning from international duty.

Go on lad needs someone to prop up the sky. The desire or need for an early goal seems to have turned on its head based on recent performances. I think I prefer the low block rather than a team having a go and pressing us. So many of our players struggle against an organised press, which does not bode well if we get promoted. We will have that to cope with week in week out.

There was quite a few below performances today and all a few showed composure and spatial awareness in possession.

It's a heartbreaking moment when you concede in this manner. It's football. Sometime you are on the wrong end on the course of a long season.

Today we are on the wrong end. We have to suffer a little bit. But then we go again.



The goals conceded

I can't expain but we don't need to speak baout this too much.

Overall, it was a typical first game after the interntional break. We hasn;t trained together for two weeks. We needed to shake the rustiness from the international break off.

We spoke about this at half time and how we need to calm down. Yeah you can say Ao played the ball back for the corner.

I have to say a fantastic reaction from my team, when you concede in such a way.

Would have been a perfect hard-fought win. But we don't pick up three points, just on

If you asked me 10 days ago, I;d have said very close to starting. Then he went away and had this injury. A serious injury.

There was no chance to start him today, A bit risky to play him today anyway. Hopefully he's in a better situation for the next games.

Not right now [about thinking about his palce in the team]. We win together and draw together. Everyone can see what happened today.

After such a heartbreaking game they don't need a manager to put the disappointment on the players.



Why Ampadu started

I observed him closely during the training week. He looked very sharp.

For me it was clear he could play 60 mins. If not for the yellow card he could have played longer. It wasn't a coincidence that when eh went off we hadn't conceded a goal.



Added time

I'm 100 per cent concined we'll play in Premier League next season.

I asked them. Their goalkeeper went down. I asked the fourth official if he can do antthing. He said our hands are tied.

No complaints from Swansea doing this. It's not down to the referee or fourth official why we concede this equaliser. Can't accuse them at all.

The writing was on the wall in the pre-match presser when he was getting the excuses in early, international break, injuries, difficult summer, etc.

Georginio doesn't look very upset to me

He has 0 excuses

He had more than enough last season.

As for the upset about Geo, pish off tell them to grow up be a manager not a softly softly coward.

And if it matters that much tell them to pick up the phone and call him, he's not dead!!!!

Or give them Monday off and fly them down to Brighton, they can spend the day skipping down the beach with Geo ffs.
