When asked about Meslier's errors.

He replied, "We can't talk about it"

First half, especially saving the pen i thought he was having a great game but then he drops a ball from a simple cross and they score, the second perhaps he could have done better but there's a number of players before that could have done better.

For his sake and ours he needs to find a new club in the summer, the defence as well as the fans have lost all faith in him

Clacton white,I totally agree I would prefer darlow in goal for the last 7 games cos all that's going to happen the opposition are just going to bombarded our goal with crosses and high balls and causes doubts between def and gk ,a side issue I don't think farke is good enough for the prem either if we get there .

It’s not just his schoolboy errors that have cost us points it is the could have done better ones as well
Would take ANY other championship keepers and perhaps many others in lower leagues.
Let’s not hear he’s still young!!!!

Yes there were errors in the build up to the goal but that is when a good or decent keeper comes to the rescue
He never does

Certainly if the club go up he isn't up to PL standard ....no way . If he is between the sticks then expect 60 goals plus in the against column .
The defence in total was abysmal during those last two seasons in the EPL, conceding 160 goals, and Meslier was part of that defence.

Only conceding 60 at the top level would be a good season for Meslier :x

Yes , going by previous experience I guess you're right , 60 might be a success for Meslier . Problem with defence...partly ...is your need confidence in the chap behind you , these players are possibly expecting some sort of c**k up at any time , making them more nervous in the process . I think for the past few seasons mention has been made of a keeper replacement but it hasn't happened. I think I whatever happens now , promotion , play offs , stuck in this division... whatever.......a new option is required.

Again Farke has the power (I assume) if Darlow is so bad he can't beat out Meslier then what the f**k is he doing at the club. Farke's job to coach, to motivate, to make the tough decisions. catching high balls is absolutely a teachable skill, so teach it. 1 hour a day catching crosses should help

In his hands. Drops it. Lack of concentration

Definitely :)

Should have happened ages ago, but people love getting attached to mediocre players.

If we don't go up Farke will be hoofed for starters and virtually all of our better players will be offski.

If we do get promoted I would say that Farke will last about ten matches before he's sacked.

I watch Meslier warming up before games, when generally Cairns is crossing the ball in.

99% of the time Meslier catches the ball, no punching, flapping or dropping it, he catches it clean.

Obviously, it’s different in game pressure, but clearly he is being told to catch the ball. Surely, they practice this in training with the likes of Rodon etc trying to make it difficult for him.

Bit like lobbing easy balls to a batsman in the nets ... Make it harder, I've seen pre game warm ups and it's not teaching anyone anything.

Yes, as I said it’s obviously different ‘in game’ but surely they practice every single training session.

Strangely enough, for 63 minutes of the game, Meslier was in contention for the Man Of The Match award.

No goalkeeper change, no top two, simple as that for me
I stand by my post in January, sticking with Patsy is going to get him the sack and us another season in this god forsaken league 😢

DF had his opportunity with Mes but backed him 100% despite his very long and well trodden history of dodgy moments.

Once DF made that decision any faults of Mes became faults of Farke.

Nigel Martyn must be pushing 60, I'd still have him over Mr Flappy

I’m sick to death of saying it, see my posts in this thread, but Meslier is a decent enough young keeper but nothing more.

Big decision for Farke now, not easy sacking your keeper, but if he doesn’t Meslier is going to get Farke sacked.
