Before that in order Forest, Brentford, Fulham, Villa.. 3 of the last 6 have established (Fulham came down again before winning the division) . Only 1 winner has established (Fulham). No runners up from the last 6 seasons have stayed up. Brighton the last in 2017

So 18 teams up in the last 6 years. Three playoff winners and Fulham as the only winners have survived.

So the Blunts were top at Christmas and didn't go up, so that particular "honour" can now be taken off us.

Actually pleased for Sunderland. They can keep hold of their young talents like Pattinson, Rigg, Bellingham rather than being raided.

Said this morning 1 team will get done by VAR this afternoon and it happened, I know everyone knows the rules beforehand but, they don't deem the championship good enough for VAR all season, then the richest game in football they pounce on it, parasites, without that decision shitfield win, not that I'm bothered as I said and backed sunderland.
Thought it was a good game as well and knew players would be flagging around the 70 minute mark.
Sunderland knew the bombs were coming when 2-1 up and put Hjelde on, he won 4 out of 5 crosses in the air.

I turned it off, they were awful. What a shocker when I looked at the scores.

The match was somewhat intriguing. Sure the football was a bit of a scrap but it was a bit of a bun fight and both the goals were cracking. I had a feeling that the Blunts would bottle it the longer the game went on. And so it came to pass.

What was served up was much better than the tripe those two lower Premiership outfits Spares and Manure foisted on the public earlier in the week!

Enjoyable play off final after initially it looked like Sunderland had frozen on the big stage. Somehow they found a way back into a game that looked beyond them and then showed incredible belief to go on and win it with lovely goal in added time. Probably the best result for us as Sunderland will need quite the squad overhaul to become competitive in what looks like a very strong PL next season.

Also we can now put a £10M bid in for Hamer that should get accepted as Sheff Utd will have to cut their cloth accordingly. We'll have to wait and see but it's likely they'll find having to spend another year in the Championship much tougher than this time around.

So happy to see Sunderland get promoted, mainly because of their 2 Northern Ireland players.
