That’s fair, and I am also disappointed how we conceded.

However, we will not be the only team that concede to Arsenal from a corner this season, and we certainly won’t be the only team that the likes of Saka etc score against.

My point is, this is far from a season defining moment, and we have much more realistic challenges to come then facing Arsenal, at the Emirates, in their first game of the season.

I’m confident we will survive, regardless of today’s result.

That last line says it all—hopefully we do see lessons learned at Newcastle, but those lessons also apply to the players. Even if the setup wasn’t perfect for Arsenal away, there were still moments where they could’ve carried it out with a lot more composure and sense.

Farke does not adapt to situations he just same old off you play like we always do and see what happens and that will be his down fall .He must get the new players up to speed for Newcastle otherwise they will be rubbing there hands and we cannot get beaten in that game the 49ers are wanting to see a return on those players bought .

It was an odd starting lineup, I get keeping a winning side together but anyone could see you can’t approach a game away at Arsenal in the same way as a game at home with Everton. The Leeds stats from the 2 games look like we were playing a team from a different planet rather than the same league.

Nmecha had to come in, not because he scored but because he is comfortable holding the ball up. Bijol would have given us that extra presence in defence even if he went with a back five. And longstaff would have given us more bite and energy in midfield rather than tanaka’s technicality - we still wouldn’t have got a result but might of at least not lost 5-0

I don’t get why Farke moans about the need for signings and then is not playing the ones he has made, if most are squad players then we need at least 2 more starters, a right winger and a striker if nmech and DCL are behind Piroe.

Aye you do, you might post once or twice. But when we lose you go into overdrive. Be honest - you find it difficult to post when we win under Farke and write anything positive about the fella. However, if we lose it is a different story.

To be fair, it's the nature of forums isn't it.

There is a lot more to critique when we lose, a lot more for people to get off their chests. The numbers of visitors go through the roof when bad stuff happens, when we win people are happy, content and celebrate in their own ways.

We are not scoring more than one goal against Premier League/European clubs.

Three goals scored in the games against Villarreal, Milan, Everton & Arsenal

At this rate, 38 goals wouldn't be enough to remain in the PL.
