But would you rather focus on winning the cup right now and take resources from staying up? Neither Palace or Newcastle had/have any threat of relegation. That too is a reflection on the FA having the wrong priorities in my view. The way the financial pie is split and the way financial rules are set up is out of touch.

But even under the Bielsa season when we had no relegation troubles we put out a poor side v Crawley and lost 3-0. I feel like we'll always have an excuse ready not to take the cups seriously.

Well you cant blame Farke for that one. But interested to see you try.
A very frustrating first half so far. We just don't seem to have any real attacking ideas. The movement in and around the box has been poor to nonexistent. I expect mass changes in the 2nd half.
