It's ok :)

Saves me doing it

Very very worried about the Newcastle press though.

Good to see they will hopefully atleast be weakened.

Newcastle were very impressive against Liverpool and unlucky to lose with ten men. I expect them to stick at least four past us, after watching tonight’s cup game.

Early toon match chat

Post by Spotty »

Looking forward to the game. Mixed bag for you guys but better than us. Last night hurt. 😔. What's your thoughts on weekend game. Really fancied us with Tonali, Gordon and big Joe playing. But with our make shift centre fwd Gordon suspended, and two of of our really influential players injured, I no longer "really" fancy us. Going for a narrow 0-1 win for us.

Gonna put this out there but I'm disappointed you won't see Tonali. He's really really special, an engine like no other and I'm not one for "bigging" Anny of our own players - always goes tits up - but right now Tonali in my and many of our fans eyes, he's the best midfielder in the PL bar none. Devastated he's not playing Saturday.

After Saturday, good luck guys.

You should have too much for us, we looked like a team of amateurs v Arsenal and now we just got beaten by SW U21's with over 100M of talent on the pitch

we were so bad tonight that i may not even watch the match on saturday
Leeds need to bring in a midfielder who can score goals and a decent number 9 in Jan 2027.

Can't see anything but a Toon victory by 2 or 3 goals, it's going to take us another few games (if at all) to become more resilient.

After tonight i am genuinely fearing a battering despite the Newcastle player issues

They press us like they did Liverpool and many bottoms will fall out

We've had this discussion :)

I don't drink

And I am genuinely busy Saturday, babysitting a party.

Shame really, been to a quite few Newcastle games when I lived in the area, great atmosphere

Can you please tell me what the longstaff we've bought actually does?

What is the best aspect of his game and his best position?

Is the ginger haired one the better player?

Do you still have the ginger haired one playing for you?

And do they both play in the same position?

Where should Farke play this lad we've bought?

It is hard to know what to expect from us in this game. The Arsenal match was a strange one, they were miles better than us but hardly troubles us until they got a spawny goal. I can see us taking the game to you and it being a good hard fought game. If Newcastle play to their best then you should win but it wouldn't surprise me to see us cause you a few problems. I think we will need to ride our luck a bit, have our keeper actually make a save (or a few) and us to score a couple whether by good play or just the ball falling our way.

Welcome Spotty again.

I'll should ask you to start threads in the future, as your topic seems to have attracted more posts than my Newcastle chat thread I posted six hours earlier.

Not your fault mate, sadly some of our members don't look beyond the end of their nose!

I'm merging this thread.
