P: We don't need to worry about fatigue caused by playing the extra games,

N: The 'fringe' players failed to show that they should be starting in the league matches. Bielsa Farke was proven right

To save time this has been my default answer for several years.

Currently 9/4 5th favourite for relegation.
Positive that we are rated that highly?
Positive of a good value bet?

Gonna try and take this seriously.

+ Gnonto and Bogle good down the right. James sharp when he came on. Bijol and Bournauw were fine. Okafor looked lively. Somehow Harrison is a half decent attacking left back? DCL got into good positions finishing will come when rustiness wears off.

- Tactics (again). Ponderous sideways passing it was like watching every home championship game from 23/24.
Darlows howler. Ouch. Gruev looking limited even at this level. Piroe poor.

P. After that, surely the 49ers will do something in the remainder of the transfer window.

N. Then again, maybe they won’t.

Pos : Harrisson rehabilitated so that puts that to bed. One of the few starters who looked like he was PL standard. Bogle, Willy and Stach made a difference off the bench.

Neg : Many of the new signings looked below the standard needed - Bijol, Longstaff, Okafur. Some of our Championship stalwarts are just not up to it - Piroe, Aaronson, James, Gruev.

With Amps and Ao out, I am more worried tonight than after the Arsenal game

P Let me think about that?
N We've bought a lot of mediocre player. Okafor was particularly disappointing.

Congrats on the Cup win and on beating us Week 1. Just on here out of morbid curiosity on how DCL is doing for ya. I would love to tell you poor finishing is a matter of rustiness but it is not. We watched it for a decade. It is a feature, not a bug. Gl going forward.

Pos - we didn’t get done by a non-league club.

Neg - we got beat by a side that that may as well be a non-league club.

Pos.... Although the penalty was awful, and hemissed chances, Calvert Lewin got into the areas you need your CF to get into.

Neg... Failed to break down a second string, second tier club in crisis.

was going to put
p Half time coffee
N everything else.
But
P We now know we have a lot of work to do and signing a striker that can put the ball between the white sticks under pressure may help.
Still a few days to go until the window shuts

N Lots of work to do. Defending set Pieces, Scoring goals Picking who should be first choice Keeper, they seem much of a muchness to me. Our manager coming up with a a tactic other than trying to play out from the back against much more talented Opposition

Positive - We got to give players a run out in a game that is not important to our season. Good luck to Weds
we have a different focus and it showed the way we played.

Neg - The forward line were aweful, just shows how much we haven't spent to put the ball in the back in the net. You can't gloss
over the issues, maybe it will gel but its not looking great.

Positive - The Scum were beaten by a League 2 side last night - Wednesday are League 1.
Negative - The whole attitude of our team - they rocked up expecting that they would only have to get off the bus to win - got what they deserved.
