No composure, everything seems to be rushed with both of them.

A very frustrating match. Missed our chances which absolutely cost us. Never confident when aaronson had his chance.
Dcl looked like never getting a chance
We could have played for 3 hours and not scored.
And defensively we did alright but they took two chances they had.
First chance was from a piece real quality from Kyle walker. The second very well struck goal. Beyond that we gave them nothing.

James livened things up when he came on.

We need more creativity in the middle to open teams up. Not sure where that comes from tbh.

I also feel it’s time to try bijol for struijk to firm up the back even further.

Struijk arguably had a role in all of the last four goals we have conceded. Can see Bijol coming in next game.

West ham another big game, feels like we have to be a bit more positive going forward too.

That was as bad as our display at the Emirates, if not worse, made to look like a championship club in both games.

I felt struijk is looking a few percentage off the pace. Time to try bijol.

Performance and finishing, you blasphemer you. Not forgetting this is one of our mini-league opponents. You know, the ones we are supposed to be challenging to stand any chance of staying up. But thanks for the ray of sunshine.

Make it five.

He also missed the cross for Bournemouth's equaliser.

No doubt, some will disagree!

That’s almost as frustrating as us not taking our chances, at least we’d have come away with a draw.

Sorry i am pissed off
I was one of those defending us as unlucky after that last moment equaliser in the last home game

But this is unacceptable

We are now in this rut, where next game will be the same

Huffing puffing no end product

Burnley is one of the easiest games, out of a very tough premier league and if we cant even get a point against them - we have no business being in the pl.
Not happy!

Walker was a great buy for them. He was the main difference today.

Could anyone tell me if throwing on all our centre forwards has ever worked for us? I do think it's just a Hail Mary from DF as he can't work anything else out at that point.

If we get beaten by West Ham at home it could be curtains for Herr Farke. I think he needs to maintain near enough a one point a game to maintain his job.

Fair play to Sunderland, they recruited well for the Premiership, and us for the Championship.

I am not making excuses for Farke, this is a results business. If we were to lose the next game against Wet Spam at home, I would not be surprised if he was sacked. Depends how ruthless Marathe is. It is unlikely he will be given the benefit of doubt considering his record at this level.

Massive game next week.

Ok what were his other options ? Completely agree with the potential sack though if we lose next week.

When we are in these kind of ruts we could have Haaland and Ronaldo on, what will they do with zero service, zero brains in the final third?!!?!!

Every EPL team will be licking their chops at the thought of playing us. A few batterings and the players heads will go down and that's coming soon Leon

I think they would have buried at least two of our chances

YorkshireSquare wrote: ↑Sat Oct 18, 2025 4:04 pm Really shows the lack of creativity we have in the squad with a couple of our wingers out.

We dominated posession today, always felt like we would, but Farke didn't go for it. Went with the same midfield as the last few games where today, especially with Okafor out, we probably needed a bit more going forward. Tanaka or Piroe for Stach?
I'd have picked Piroe (surprise I know) and played him off DCL.

I don't think we needed 3 cm vs Burnley but DF isn't really one for change and does tend to be cautious away from home.

I'd have liked to see a different approach.

Having said that Parker has kept clean sheets against us 3 times in a row so maybe he just has DF's number.

The Aaronson miss hurt the most. If he scores there it really changes the match. I like that he took it on his first touch, but he seemed unable to really place the shot. If you don't put your boot through it you have to get the placement right. He did neither.

Aaronson is what he is, as Ian said he never looked right taking the shot.
Bogle? Which was that?
