Who is the wind-up merchant that thinks Harrison should be in our first XI.

Still struggling to process the substitution of Jack Harrison for Gabriel Gudmundsson at left-back in the 82nd minute.
Jack lost all four of his duels, was dribbled past twice, failed his only take-on and conceded an 88th minute penalty.
That one has to be on Daniel Farke.

Jack is workmanlike and importantly for Farke, nearly always available. He is rarely out injured which can’t be said for many of our forwards.
Wish we had moved him on during the Summer. That nobody came in for him speaks volumes.

Jackie could still do a job for us in a substitute role. But his fitness is shite! He needs to get to a level of fitness similar to the Marcelo Bielsa days. Right now he looks like the English version of Weston McKennie. But with less talent.

No, but that's from the perspective of a supporter whose followed Leeds since 1967 and the great Revie team.
If we're comparing our current crop to that standard and aiming to be the best then none of these lot are good enough to play for Leeds.
But with these 49er comedians in charge, a joke of an unprofessional recruitment team and a coach whose achieved 9 wins in 60 EPL matches and is right on track for getting us relegated, then Jack Harrison is just fine and dandy to meet our current standards and expectations.

These kind of decisions are going to cost Farke his job. Surprisingly, the penny appears not to have dropped yet

I'd like to hear from the 3 that have said "yes" as to their thinking. What is it that Jack Harrison brings to the team / on the pitch that makes him deserving of being in the first X1

Re: Is Jack Harrison good enough to play for Leeds? - Poll of the Day (13th Nov)
The question posed was good enough. Which on balance after 6 seasons in the PL I'd say he probably is, or at least in the same way that Ampedu, Bogle and others are. Doesn't necessarily mean they are all good PL players though. Now as stated on an earlier post at this current moment in time Harrison's form is patchy at best and a lot of that is down to the difficult circumstances that he mainly created for himself.PhoenixUnited wrote: ↑Fri Nov 14, 2025 10:13 am I'd like to hear from the 3 that have said "yes" as to their thinking. Deserving of being in our first team is a whole other ball game.

They are obviously still mesmerized from the form he showed under Bielsa, strange how all Marcelo's boys deteriorated once he departed Leeds.PhoenixUnited wrote: ↑Fri Nov 14, 2025 10:13 am I'd like to hear from the 3 that have said "yes" as to their thinking.
