We did both at times to be honest. Long purposeful and hoofball.

Thats just picking on Farke for the sake of it.
A sloppy pass. Not formation.
I didn't mention formation?

It was playing it across the defence, playing out from the back so was the 2nd goal.

Neither happen if it goes forward earlier.

And they've both had their new manager bounce already

Only two points behind Fulham too now, although they play tomorrow

Need to make sure they turn up v the non greedy six now. We didn't turn up at Burnleh or Forest, or we'd be out of sight.

Hopefully we can light the afterburners once we get into January.

Liverpool ( A)
Scummers ( H)
Toon ( A)

All within 6 days too

Anyway credit to reaction in game.

It was nice to see changes and other ideas.

He needs to be facing the sack more often, he seems more willing to change when his job is on the line.

Was wrong about the changes offensively , seemed to make us less passive (whether because we were chasing or by design).

Thought BA did well actually and Gnonto.

Will be interesting to see how we do away from home now.

The three at the back was working fine defensively, we were undone by giving them a gift. They didn’t have a shot on goal first half.

Going forwards Gruev offered no energy in Midfield, just safe 5 yards balls for the most part, except for the long ball from the 2nd half kickoff to Perri.

Okafor is not a forward and he looked disinterested for the most part.

We just lacked the same energy in key areas compared to the Chelsea game.

Second half we had to do something 2-0 down, the subs worked, regardless of the formation because it introduced some energy and purpose into our play.

Cjay wrote: ↑Sat Dec 06, 2025 7:22 pm Point still stands though.

We've conceded these 2 goals because if ploddyball out from the back

Formation or no formation changes that.

But with 4-3-3 we know we lose runners, whols season of evidence.

Was always going to be hard to back up the Chelsea win.
Slot being an arse in the interview. Expected in fairness.

Oh that was in response to the 3rd goal (or 2nd)

Where we lost runners.

That wasn't the Rodon one.

Can`t have been a set piece goal as we dont have a set piece coach. You don`t score set piece goals unless you employ one of those, haven`t you read what the experts on here have said

He did the right thing trying to cut the cross out but it was a weak hand, he should have done better. Element of bad luck in the way it went in but for a big lump he should be wiping players out more. The first half fist on Etitike is what I want to see more of.
